Dawn works perfectly for the SSB game, and her pokemon choice works as well.

Make the Piplup special and can use Hydrocannon as Final Smash!

heres wat they should do for the trainer, they should give him/her diff pokemon for each of his pallete swaps.

Red/normal pallete have squirtle,ivysaur and charizard

yellow have totodile,bayleef and typholsion

green have mudkip(obviusly :), grovyle and blaziken

blue have piplup grotle and infernapeblck or white have oshawott, servine and emboar

Great Idea but i dont think that dawn would work .... Unless they replace the Pokemon character with ash(Ash Being the Pokemon Trainer).... If not then just having a Female Pokemon Trainer Then That Would Work!

Yeah, Hilbert or Hilda would be much more likely than Dawn. If they do have the new trainers, I reckon they should have it so you can choose your gender at the character select screen.

@KingMinun Well Red is the main character of the manga and is the counterpart of Ash so he was more well known.

Well Dawn also has a manga counterpart and anime, and her anime counterpart is very popular in Japan, in fact she is consider the female version of Ash and the main female of the anime in Japan.

@KingMinun Even if Platinum(Dawn) gets into SSB her pokemon will be Prinpulp, Torterra, and Chimchar. The middle evolution Pokemon will always be from the same family as the trainer's starter Pokemon in the manga. I still say its unlikely for even Black and White to get in because not only Red is popular but so is Charizard(even more than Pikachu).
