This is a cakewalk for Lazarus to debate about. The facts are on the side of Israel, and--as always--Mr. Lazarus lays them out firmly. Israel needs to take action to show its citizens that it cares more about its people than what the media will twist this into.

I'm not quite sure you understand the goals of either side here.

Hamas is trying to kill as many people as possible. Thankfully, their rockets aren't designed or fired well enough to do the kind of damage they would hope for. The number 2GfH345N mentioned is likely an estimate based on the kind of damage their rockets could have caused if they had better aim.

Israel, on the other hand, is trying to target Hamas while doing its best to avoid civilian casualties. A complete reverse of Hamas.

Israel wants to let the UN inforce the peace. Didn't you hear the news? The Hamas doesn't want the UN there. Hamas said that the UN would favour Israel. Just for the record, it's just an accuse, so the Hamas will still rule un-democraticly over the Palestinian people. and even if you say "They voted for them!" check out who was the other candidate. No one. They could choose between Hamas, and Hamas.
