  • OMG they found nancy pelosi's evil twin , LOL

  • You all are just spinning your wheels until you realize that guns are not the driver of violence. Increased violence is the driver of all weapon use. You are coming at the problem from the wrong direction and no matter how strongly you feel about it, you are not going to improve anything until you define your problem correctly.

  • what should we do ban guns? In 1997 england banned, confiscated, and destroyed all legally owned handguns and by 1999 the use of handguns in crime had increased 40%! Guns are not the problem, heck now thanks to their gun ban now england has more crime then the US. In 1998, a study conducted jointly by statisticians from the U.S. Department of Justice and the University of Cambridge in England found that most crime is now worse in England than in the United States.

  • shes such a dumbass i can not STAND to listen to her well thats why i looked up these videos so i could make fun of them

  • ficken dumbass gun control idiots

  • Criminals don't report when their illegaly accquired gun is stolen. Penn has been suckling on the teat of liberal politicians for far too long.

  • All bathtubs, toilets and buckets must be banned!!!

  • Notice how the liberal fear and outrage is not directed toward the criminal or violence itself, but rather, out of ignorance, is directed toward the inanimate object. Their pleasure is to "jail the firearms" and let the criminals go free. NEVER reveal to any governmental authority the make, model, or serial number of any firearm you might own. Make no mistake, their goal is CONFISCATION, not crime reduction.

  • When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

  • Never rely on police....police are secondary!

  • fuck that i want my gun so i can protect my family from traspassers who want to kill us

  • i seoncd that emotion!!! They will pry a gun away from my hands when i die!

  • Lol i think u meant I second that "motion" but I completely agree with u . I live in Jamaica and it is very hard to obtain a firearm . I am under age but i am seriously considering purchasing one when i finish school . All the best to u

  • This makes alot of sense....

Just like asking a wild fire to put its self out makes alot of sense...

  • we should bann criminals for using guns not innocents using guns

  • My mom WAS all for gun control until somebody broke into the house when she wasn't home and they didn't steal anything. Who was it and what were they after? nobody knows. When I came down to S. Fla to visit her she told me and she was scared shitless and for my two sisters. Now shes packing a .38 spl under her matress and just took her Concealed Carry License.

  • Hahahahahaha no.

  • If we report our guns, then what are we to do when the govt. comes a-knocking?? The nazis did this in Austria - first collected the guns..then a bit later, they collected the PEOPLE!

  • Now, if we could just get the ciminals to abide by the gun laws we'd all be better off. What a joke!If criminals thought more law abiding citizens had guns, they would think twice before robbing, raping, and murdering.

  • Great speech lady but buess what? Criminals will not abide as nobody would report a gun stolen that they were not allowed to have the in the first place. Burdening non-crminals will not stop criminals from committing illegal acts. If you so are concerned with saving lives then lobby for more money for prisons and cops, not more anti-constitutional laws on law-abiding citizens.

  • If you think more laws making it more difficult for LAW ABIDING citizens to get guns will make it safer for children in your area, or in this country--you are mistaken. It is the CRIMINALS who are doing the violence. CRIMINALS will ALWAYS get guns--and I mean ALWAYS. Making more gun control laws, making it more difficult for the LAW ABIDING citizens to protect themselves--the ONLY thing you will accomplish is to make US the law abiding citizens into VICTIMS of CRIMINALS...

  • We have gun registration here in Canada and so far Police are on record as saying that it has done absolutely nothing to solve a single crime.

The Guns and Gangs Taskforce in the Province of Ontario reported that less than 6% of all recovered crime guns were found to have been stolen from lawful owners here in Canada. The rest were smuggled from the US.

So to be clear, if they can get them across an international border, what will any state law do to stop them from crossing a state border?

  • No one wants to see innocent people go to jail -- but a tracking system that can be used by police to find stolen guns used illegally by criminals is needed in a state where stolen guns are a deadly problem.

  • The anti-gun liberals have only themselves to blame. They've been so dishonest with gun owners about their intentions that they are no longer trusted. That's why you'll never get any registration legislation passed. Because anti-gun liberals are dishonest and have a Nazi mentality, registration should never be passed. Even if it were, gun owners would never register, and I don't blame them.

  • @MomsAgainstGuns

I'm sorry but your point of view is completely irroneous. Look at UK, there exists a handgun ban and a semiauto weapon ban since 1997. In the last thirteen years criminal rate increased vertiginously and many kids lost their lives because of beatings, stabbings or shootings related on drug and gang violence. The shootings were not from stolen guns because Government confiscated in 1997 all legal guns from law abiding citizens. All these guns came from illegal gun trafficking!

  • "93% of those polled in PA"

I can go to Philly right now and get 100% of the people who participate in MY poll to be AGAINST this sideshow act! Polls are easily swayed to point in whatever direction you want. It's all about how you phrase the question and what demographic you're playing it to.

  • Does anyone else have a problem with uniformed police officers attending a political rally?

  • Police being taken off street patrol or forced to work overtime (paid for by tax dollars) for political rallys. What a great service to the tax payers of PA. I wonder who the first victim of the "must report stolen within 24 hours" law will be. As it's written you will be charged as a felon even if you're out of town when it's stolen. Too bad none of the effort put into this will actually do a lick against criminals.

  • Exactly -- these laws are just asking people to be responsible about their deadly weapons.

  • And if you are out of town and cannot report it because you dont know it was stolen you will be arrested for a felony. Fact is it will do nothing to stop crime. Reported or not a criminal already would have it without a trace so there is no way reporting a gun stolen will stop crime.

  • Although I'm pro-gun I kinda have to agree with one. If a crime is comitted with your stolen gun you are somewhat in the clear. You report you car stolen asap.

  • If you are out of town when it was stolen and cannot report it because you dont know it was stolen you are arrested for a felony. That is the major problem with this bullshit law.

  • I find it a catch 22. First off, as with any crime you just have to prove you are out of town at the time the gun was stolen. But if the gun stolen from your home is used in a murder 2 weeks later, you could spend the rest of your life in jail. Also if the police can rule you out as a suspect becasue you reported the gun stolen it would save them a lot of time, nd they could gather evidence at your home, like finger print, security video, etc., that will help the police get the killer.

  • The way the bill is written there is no excuse for you being out of town if not reported. It says depending on state that the firearm must be reported within 24 hours or 3 days or you will be prosecuted for a felony. There is no mention in the bill/law that says unless you are out of town. I am not saying it will happen every time but someone will be prosecuted for a crime they didnt commit because of this bullshit law.

  • oops on the typos but you get my point. Blaming an inanimate object for the actions of criminals is silly and pointless.

  • Why don't you go after the real problem and change your name to "Mom's Against Criminals"? MADD is Moms Against DRUNKING DRIVING not Moms Against Alcohol. Blaming guns for violence is like blaming water for drownings or Cutco for stabbings.

  • Thanks for your input, we understand your point. We aren't able to change the name at this point but truly we are seeking commonsense legislation to stem the flow of illegal guns that are causing too much murder and bloodshed (kind of long to put in a name).

  • You are able to change your name the Brady Center has done it many times. Fact is you are against firearms not the criminal or the illegal use of firearms that is why you chose the name. Reporting a stolen gun will do nothing if it is not found before it is used in a crime. You should be against the criminal who commits the crime not the tool that is used during it. All firearms start in a legal fashion it is the criminal that makes them illegal.

  • @MomsAgainstGuns you dont get it the guns dont cause the murder just like alcohol doesnt cause drunk driving. you want absolute legislature. 1 law leads to 2 laws which leads to 21,000 laws. You would strip the many of their rights due to the lack of responsibility, morals, and ethics of the few. Maybe we teach our youth good values, personal responsibility, self reliance, and mature conflict resolution.
