God gives people hope, and blindness (a blessing), being not ignorant is the worse disease known to man, it can lead to depression as it has me, I am one too intelligent to fall for the god b.s. There is much more out there and to say God created us is just being un-logical. We are specs of dust in the universe. But I love this band personally, as for most "christian" bands. It's good music and I respect the message, I do believe in higher power, certainly not the same one as most of you though.
I barely ever go to church but i praise The Heavenly Father and pray to him every night i always pray he watches over me and my family and i pray he hears and knows i love him sometimes when i feel as if i am about to explode with sorrow i talk to him and my saddness vanishes it makes me happy and safe to know He loves and watches over me. This song reminds me of Gods loving embrace. :)

So I read most of the comments on this video and I am surprised how little talk there is of the meaning of these lyrics. The world is so full of pain and broken hearts, I wish God would hear this prayer. People are so destructive to one another, I think we could save lives if only we understood love better.
To be honest, I'm Pagan but I still love Christian rock bands. I catch a lot of criticism over it, but I don't care. Songs like this help everyone remember that they're not alone and that there is something divine watching out for you, whether you call it God, Goddess, Allah, Buddha, or whatever.

We listen to skillet at my youth group and tonight i asked if we could listen to falling up too. we put it on for background music and all of us started rocking out. it was so much fun. i hope we listen to it next time too.

There is a Christian metal band that dominates-Blessthefall. In my opinion, their top 5 songs are To Hell and Back, Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad, God Wears Gucci, Rise Up, and We'll Sleep When We're Dead.

this song reminds me of how people can be towards religion; which is basically ignorant. Almost every person I've come across that has their own version of how they should worship God, they never want to listen to how others see their faith. Take a friend of mine for example. He's Christian, and i would explain to him a thing or two about how i see things, but it's like he doesn't want to listen, even though he'd do the same thing, trying to show me his religion, expecting me to listen to him.
Well, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all have their common roots. I'm a christian that believes in and respects the prophet Muhammad... I mean Christian Teachings tell of the same angel (Gabriel) that spoke to the prophet, so why does the christian faith ignore him?? Iunno i no i'm off topic, but ohwell :)

There is only one Christian rock band that is better than this-Skillet. Skillet is the best Christian band out there. For those of you who are not familiar with them, I recommend the songs Hero, Monster, Comatose, Savior, Rebirthing, Falling In The Black, Whispers in the Dark, and Awake and Alive.

@kennyG990 I have actually tried Disciple's music before, and I don't like their music very much. Yes, I agree, Skillet is generic, but they are still my favorite Christian band. Despite however generic they may be, their music is still amazing, and that is more important to me than anything else.
@7792thereaper there are sooooo many christian bands out there better than skillet. lol. the christian rock music scene is at an all time high. skillet is a huge corprate footnote on even the local christian bands in my town. i think its waay funny when people comment about christian bands like this:)
@iamglemo As a matter of fact, there is a better Christian band, Blessthefall. Blessthefall is a Christian metalcore band, and I enjoy their music much more than Skillet's. Someone mentioned that Skillet is generic, and that is sadly true. Most of their lyrics have been said and done before.

If we got everything there would be no point of heaven and hell, most people would wish for no more child molesters, no more crime, but then there's no free will or judgement needed. this song reminds me of how people can be towards religion; which is basically ignorant. Almost every person I've come across that has their own version of how they should worship God, they never want to listen to how others see their faith. Take a friend of mine for example. He's Christian, and i would explain to him a thing or two about how i see things, but it's like he doesn't want to listen, even though he'd do the same thing, trying to show me his religion, expecting me to listen to him.

There is only one Christian rock band that is better than this-Skillet. Skillet is the best Christian band out there. For those of you who are not familiar with them, I recommend the songs Hero, Monster, Comatose, Savior, Rebirthing, Falling In The Black, Whispers in the Dark, and Awake and Alive.

@kennyG990 I have actually tried Disciple's music before, and I don't like their music very much. Yes, I agree, Skillet is generic, but they are still my favorite Christian band. Despite however generic they may be, their music is still amazing, and that is more important to me than anything else.

@iamglemo As a matter of fact, there is a better Christian band, Blessthefall. Blessthefall is a Christian metalcore band, and I enjoy their music much more than Skillet's. Someone mentioned that Skillet is generic, and that is sadly true. Most of their lyrics have been said and done before.
