wouldn't it be nice if we could just take our time and enjoy everything we learn? and not let a grade represent the expertise and wisdom we have about a particular subject? i think that would very nice. sadly, grades represent opportunities, but they are--in my opinion--a very poor way to gauge true experience and knowledge. getting an A requires a lot of shortcuts and deters one from truly understanding a subject. i love my field, but getting a's the courses gets me very disapointed in my field

You are absolutely right. We live in a society that forces us to speed up so that we succumb to its prime motivation: to make money off us & own our thoughts. Speeding up

& being sped up all the time leads us to be less connected within ourselves &more superficial. We end up making hasty decisions becasue of the dearth of time. We r taught to have what we do not deserve & get it through debt..Most peopel r owned by debt attained lives.

We then do not have time to think deeply &think only superficialy & short term. Living in a fast life all the time will eventually lead to losing of the inner attributes of the spirit & soul that are built over time &hard work. There is a big difference between fool's gold and real gold: one glitters so much on the exterior & talks always trying to persaude while the other does not talk much but is filled with the substance of truth.

The inner must be strong first. We must learn the values of life &hard work that tame our spirit & soul in order to handle fast speed.This takes sufferring & time.
