  • Every now and then I follow your videos and let me just say they're great. I mean I'm certainly no objectivist or even fan of Ayn Rand, but I love to read and I read similar topics as you do and even now the books you recommended. Differences are immaterial, what's important is thinking. Books are great for that, reading is to the mind what exercise is the the body. The essence of life is to move: by thought, action, maturity, by trial, error, whatever. Just don't stand still and do nothing.

  • i moved schools and country very young and also many different schools, I didnt learn to read so well at first and literally knew I had to teach myself so i read all the time and still learned from look say and hear method but I had to no one would listen to me, they said i was dislexic "Excuse the spelling" I graduated in honors from college and read better than more people I can think of. I still work on my reading and writing and you have to always.

  • Great stuff. I just picked up a copy of Aristotle's Children, and I'll get the Freeman book soon. You should recommend more books (I'm interested more in good history and economics books, personally).
