  • bravo -- great job, and so enjoyable to see the piece sung by people at an age close to that of the characters in the show.

  • just found this, amazing.watched all the clips, great production.well done to all concerned.

  • I wonder if the gay-ish portrayal of the leads was intentional. If so, it adds an interesting layer of complication to their relationship. I've always been intrigued by how Sondheim's musicals allow for such a range of re-interpretation.

Not to mention that this cast did a great job--really convincing portrayals.

  • in reply to AtLastOnTheGround i believe this is really good just the two men almost play the parts gay but well done a very hard show

  • Great job, you guys. The femininity of the two male actors may throw off some of the audience, but overall this is a VERY challening (and underrated) show and you guys did a wonderful job -- GREAT harmonizing.

  • I love the girl; who plays mary's voice, its a lovely quality, wqith really pretty high notes, beautiful :) xx

  • Well done

  • Love this song. Looks like a classy production.

  • that's a high school? that stage is HUGE

  • nice. i was worried when he started out with the second verse, but it worked. If that was an improv fix, phat kudos to all them. If not, it was probably better that way anyways.

probably one of the most under-rated musicals ever.

  • He did sing the first verse, but I started the clip after it.

  • love it,a chance to see one of my favourite musicals.thanks.

  • Please, please post the opening number & That frank!!

  • Hey Buddy. Check out the new fall issue of the Sondheim Review that just came out. There is a segment on this production. It's somewhere in the middle of the issue. The color photo on page 2 inside cover is a typo. That color photo is from another HS production somewhere. There is also a second typo (Beth Not BEN).

  • ALSO.. In paragraph 3, the show should be named "Zorba," not "Zorba the Greek." AND, I'd throw in a comma or two!

  • Serious? High school kids doing Merrily? Odd. What's next, Driving Miss Daisy?

  • Ouch! My last comment came off way harsher than what I intended. You guys have done a beautiful job with this material. I was TRYING to say it's tough to do a show about regret when you're almost to young to HAVE any regrets. LOL. Thought I better clarify that. Cheers!

  • @buddyboy80 so what? as long as it's done right, who cares?

  • Probably one of the most heartbreaking, yet hopefull songs every written. Sondheim, amazing!

  • Amazing!!! Do you have a video of "Good Thing Going"?

  • Yup! . . Of course I do. I have the entire show.

Hmmm, I guess you would like to see it?

  • Totally. I would love to see it!! Please!

  • Okee-dokes... It's up!

  • Fantastic.

  • i performed this song in a showw 3 years ago.

fantastic job. and im really upset this is alex's last year :(

  • Wow!! Very talented!! These folks could have a future on Broadway.

  • Such confidence in their presence and performance, and, unbelievably, it's HIGHSCHOOL!! The harmony, the orchestra, setting, lighting, just Brilliant. Thank you for this. You guys continually 'turn it out'.
