  • fuck you all who diss robert plant, he has an amazing voice and this is just different than what we're used to listen from him, it doesn't mean it's bad, im a huge led zep fan, and i think raising sand is a great album, besides he's an institution and a living legend he can do whatever the f**k he wants

  • I'm huge Alison Krauss fan but dang, Plant's voice just upstages her. His voice is unique and amazing.

    Wow Krauss is beautiful.

  • Alison Krauss is so beautiful

  • i love how old he looks it makes this song that much better

  • Has anyone seen Scarlett Johansson & Pete Yorn new single its a total rip off of this song? Two losers attempting to sound like two legends...I feel for them. Its a truly embarrassing attempt. How can anyone think to compete with Alison Krauss?

  • 1.03-1.04 SCHWING!!!

  • Wow, Plant uses the same stage mannerisms he did some 39 years

  • No I think the worst thing that happened was when Bonham died. If not for that, then Zeppelin would've lived for a lot longer than they did.

  • Got to admit that even before Bonham died, Led Zep were past their sell-by date (unless anyone thinks In Through The Out Door is a good album)

  • She is just lovely.

  • what a team! they had fun and the music is great! Well done Allison and Robert!

  • written by phil and don everly in, like '57-'60.

cheesy lyrics? whatever. get off yer ass and dance.

  • This is Robert plant of led zeppelin

  • ah..hello....

  • Story of my life.

  • I mean weird but ill take it, just becuz its PLANT... kinda how i feel about Maynard in PUSIFER... Its weird but cool i guess...

  • I can't understand how Robert has so much endless creativity, I truly love his music.

  • This album is absolutely amazing. It really shows Robert's talent for and love of roots music. Allison is amazing in her own right as well. I love them both, and was so happy when this album came out, and the grammy wins were sheer joy, and well deserved. Change and growth is the true testament to an artist's talent, and that is demontrated exceptionally well here for both Robert and Allison.

  • Gone Gone Gone!!! I love this song....it's hauntingly beautiful. Raising Sand as a whole is an incredible album.

  • The entire album is great. I played it many times in my class while we did physics labs. The kids loved it. Imagine that. Kids twenty years younger than me and we're all into it together.

  • I have to admit I'd love Robert Plant to tour with his old mates in Zep, however he looks like he's totally enjoying himself with the help of T-Bone and Alison. Mercy, Alison is so hot, whose the luck SOB kissin them lips, I wish it was me.

  • Is it weird if I say this song "takes me back"?

    Haven't heard it since 2007... :)

  • I wish robert got back with zeppelin for one tour in my lifetime.....

  • I forgive Robert for this song just because Robert is God! I LOVE YOU ROBERT!!!

  • its good to see plant still singing

  • GOOD MUSIC

    end of story

and Ailson is as lovely as ever.

  • get the lead out, love bob,any age even like him older, sexy,i never would have put him together with alison, and I really like it, she's pretty, and what a voice!!

  • It's great!! =D and I'm a Zeppelin fan...!!

  • this is awesome stuff

    and

this is coming from a frequent Zeppelin listener

  • lol

WACKY WAVING INFLATABLE ARM FLAILING TUBE MEN

    great song

i wish he'd tour with zeppelin though :(

  • wow, what a great robert plant! wow!

  • I love this tune, they work great together. It is so not Zep, but still has that feel that only Plant can bring.

  • when there voices mix when they say Gone Gone Gone it sounds great ... Robert actualy performed better than her at the grammys 0_o .. still sounds great hope he changes his mind after the 3 or 4 grammy's he got and decide to go back to led zeppelin .

  • Love the album, but I can really hear the auto tuning on the vocals.

  • if you listen to it live it sounds exactly the same( grammys) .. i believe its just the effect of roberts voice and Alisons mixing together .

  • That isn't an auto tuner. It's their voices resonating - when their voices achieve the exact same frequency at the exact same time. It's a rare and beautiful thing. It seems to happen between this pair nearly effortlessly.

  • I'm talking throughout the CD. It's not everywhere, but it's definitely there. Any recording engineers wanna back me up?

  • the guitarist looks cool. Who is he?

  • Alison Krauss looks like a yonger version of dolley parton not to offend aney one

  • lol ure right :P

  • If Plant put out a new solo album people would bitch. They'd bitch that it's easy too Zeppelin sounding, or not enough. They'd bitch that he's too old and they'd bitch that Page isnt on it, and then they'd bitch that John Paul Jones isnt playing with those two. This is the best thing he's done in years, so people should stop bitching. If you dont like it, go watch something else.

  • Great comment. I am 45 and loved the Beatles for years. Paul gets the same bitching. I only got into Led Zep after hearing my wife's Cd's. Now we are one and the same and this is coming to my mailbox as we speak and it will sit right next to the rocking Paul McCartney Fireman album. Times change, talent lives. Ed

  • cos it says "Robert Plant" on the fucking title. why are you here anyway?
