The good thing at Japanese school is that students have to clean our class room or any other places in a school after lunch. The time for cleaning is usually 30 minutes everyday. This is really effective to make the students feel that all of them are responsible to be organized. You can see Japan is a clean country because all of us are educated at school.
As of the 2007-2008 term, the MOE will be decreasing the acceptance quota for JET applicants. A lot of my friends have lost their jobs with JET because a lot of contracting organizations are choosing to scrap the program because of cost. Expect the competition for this program to increase now.
look it to bad that u dont want immagrants but i want to go to japan because the culture is so awsome and ur langauage is so cool! i love it far more than south dakota! but im only 13 *big sigh* i wish someone from a tv show would let me live with a family for 5 weeks. i might have all c's in calsses but that because i know everything so i dont bother doing it much but when it comes to japan there a shit load to learn!
i understand that, im English and we have that problem all the time but I think when you culture begins to be destroyed because of it, then it goes to far. do you not agree?
JET Programme is a program that if you have your BS from college, you can apply. It's a long process, but if chosen they send you to Japan and you get to teach English in a school over there. Go to jetprogramme dot org and you can look more into it. Very cool program.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
We Japanese don't want foreign immigrants at all.
However, studying or traveling in Japan is no problem.

My culture is called: The Human culture.
The other cultures are the other species in this galaxy. This should be (and should have been for the last 60 years) the modern way of thinking

My absolute DREAM is to do JET either after my BA or Masters. However, I feel that if I go I may never come back to the states lol.

I think the same thing. But, I plan on actually living there. So, I know if I go over there I won't come back. LOL!
