You are absolutely correct, of coarse, about the "fewer" vs. "less" but as a native speaker, I believe that in everyday conversation we worry less about the grammar and just getting the message across. Also, it has absolutely become part of American culture! Its just how we are. Just the same with how the British say "ought" and "ought not to". Culture. But good videos none the less.
Steve, I think couldn't understand the "with regard to" part. I mean, this expression is new for me. See the example I give to see if I understood how to use it: "I am writing this letter with regard to answer your question ..."
By the way, thank you very much for your videos. They are very usefull.
It is my pleasure to help you out with your English. I hope that you have the chance to practise your English with my videos and the practise activites on my site too.
Just like multitasking, paying attention to what one is saying while they are saying it can be a huge challenge. As I said in this video, even native speakers make these mistakes.
and again I feel stupid because I would use "less people" I though we could say less and fewer with the same nouns, I mean with countable and uncountable nouns... After watching your wonderful videos I've become smarter:P I hope so;)
Keep up the good work, Steve. Simple but clear. Thanks.

I think I got it! The right way would be: "I am writing to answer your question with regard to our budget ..."
I hope it's right!
Muito obrigada!
