  • THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • you are very welcome!

  • greatly usefu to me ,thank you for your work

  • Thank you

  • thank u steeve for your videos they are useful for me !!!!

  • You are absolutely correct, of coarse, about the "fewer" vs. "less" but as a native speaker, I believe that in everyday conversation we worry less about the grammar and just getting the message across. Also, it has absolutely become part of American culture! Its just how we are. Just the same with how the British say "ought" and "ought not to". Culture. But good videos none the less.

    Regards,

    Sean

  • I think I got it! The right way would be: "I am writing to answer your question with regard to our budget ..."

    I hope it's right!

    Muito obrigada!

    Regards from Brazil

  • Steve, I think couldn't understand the "with regard to" part. I mean, this expression is new for me. See the example I give to see if I understood how to use it: "I am writing this letter with regard to answer your question ..."

By the way, thank you very much for your videos. They are very usefull.

  • thank you...i learned again...i used to use "with regards to" and i never thought it's wrong...

  • Right,

    It's all about context!!!!

    Steve

  • The best approach is to be able to differentiate between different formalities of English!

    Hope this Helps!

    Steve

    Regards,

    Steve

  • Just like multitasking, paying attention to what one is saying while they are saying it can be a huge challenge. As I said in this video, even native speakers make these mistakes.

    Not to worry!!!!!! :)

    Regards,

    Steve

  • Apesar de não entender nada...

    great !!!

Obs: Estão vendo como eu preciso fazer essas aulas?

  • It is very important for me to understand the diference between formal and informal English. I hope I can learn more from you, Steve. Thanks!

  • and again I feel stupid because I would use "less people" I though we could say less and fewer with the same nouns, I mean with countable and uncountable nouns... After watching your wonderful videos I've become smarter:P I hope so;)

  • You are free to use it!!!! Just know that it is informal. After all I have seen lots of native pseakers use it too!!!!!

    Steve

  • Awesome!

  • great!

  • Great!
