Maybe the Arabs should try making a tank for a change would be nice to see a tank with 6 reverse gears and no forward ones. Another thing to keep in mind is Saudi the biggest terror nation beside Iran and what hardware do they build? Just like Iran they have to steal their designs. Not sure of the point being made. Israeli tanks can be damaged/destroyed? Israeli tank drivers can make mistakes (.45)? Same can be said of any country's tanks, anywhere in the world. Massive IEDs will take out ANY MBT made, and ATGMs will, also, if they strike at weak points. Israel's new "TROPHY" system may change the game for shoulder-fired weapons, but not IEDs. lol. Some of the pictures arnt even of the Merkava. Some ot the pictures are from training accidents. Out of the few that are actually Merkavas hit in combat only one was hit by a missile, the others are the result of 100-500kg improvised bombs under the tank. The first few tanks aren't even Merkavas; they are Magach 7Cs. The first tank is a Magach that was knocked out by a 100 kilo land mine. The other is in slide #3; that wasn't even knocked out,it fell off a cliff and appears to be recoverable.
