Thailand Blind Snake Not Poisonous. Smallest Snake in World?

I dont know from this video, but look like the snake ore worm i see around here in Sri Songkhram. Thats near Nakhon Phanom.. North Thailand. They live in the dirt.. in the ground, but can get up to 30 -40 cm. I dont know if poison, but my whife say they are. They com up in the night.. early morning to feed. Dont know what they eat. If they are poison, they have so smal mouth, they can noth harm people.

Ever seen a garter snake baby at birth.. they are almost that small too. That's not that small for a snake. A baby rubber boa looks like a worm too.

the differance between a worm and a snake is very clear. this is definitely a snake because of how fast it moves and the way it moves.

We have them in Florida. They are harmless and are beneficial by eating small creatures in the leaf litter.

Thanks for the info man!. I'll stop killing these snakes at our backyard since you proved that they're not poisonous. I feel bad for killing a few. There has always been rumors that these snakes could kill a cow. i just decided to do a little research about these snakes and to my surprise, the species was discovered only recently. ( 2008 ) We have lots of these here in the Philippines. again, thank you for the information.

I just found one of these in my house here in the philippines. I thought itr was a worm at first until i noticed it sticking a tongue out. after researching i see it really is a snake. Of course it seems the majority of filipino think every snake they see is poisonous so I should kill it.
