what is the hype about ipods zune may not look as appealing but the only problem i had with my Zune 80 was the first one i bought had a bad wire that shorted the device but they replaced it and sent an apology for it not working that and it has good service and long battery life

Why?

1- MS Sucks in general (yes, i use windows, but its cuz im a gamer ie: i have no choice in the matter)

2- Apple's "latest tech" in the nano is about 2 yrs late, and it STILL hasnt got a FM tuner or voice recorder built in. Enter the SanDisk Sansa. (model is 2 yrs old, but has mp4 video, fm radio and voice recording, and comes in 8GB.)

So there, Get a Sansa or other brand music/media player that insnt MS;/Apple if you want a quality product.

nope, runs fine, only thing is if it were to crashg (which it hasnt), i would have to open up the thing (4 screws) and pull battery out and put it back in. (i have opened it, the battery is replacable), and in a ipod, if it freezes, you have to wait til the battery is dead lol.

It is built solid, and i actually think it is based on a gen 2 ipod, as the plug underneath is nearly identical (but an ipod plug wont fit into my player, but my plug will work with an ipod.) ive tried it.

you can actually reset an ipod in 5 seconds...... hold button->on then off.....then hold the middle button and menu and wait 3 secconds for the apple to appear on the screen....and there you have it.......Microsoft is awful
