hawaii 5-0 and charlies angels are making me worried that now tv will be filled with crap remakes of originals. there are lots of cop shows on tv that are similar, but they have their own identity. for instance look at shows like Psych and The Mentalist. Or how about Criminal Minds vs. CSI?

when you remake a show, you lose the ability for the show to have its own identity and as a result, the audience doesn't watch it.

The Original Adam-12 was great.. I didn't like the new Adam-12. at the time this show came out I thought Jack Webb would be rolling in his grave at the new Adam-12.

This is a promo reel--did they sell the shows to many stations in the U.S.? I actually watched these on WWOR in New York, when it was owned by MCA--and sent out on the satellite (I lived in Massachusetts).

So sad! This happened because Universal had nothing to do with this, they never

owned the rights, or this would have never happened, this can be blamed on the estate of the late Jack Webb.

Let this show be a lesson to all of the greedy, unoriginal asses who want to steal proven good shows "update" them then try to make money off of the dead.

Making a show loud and angry doesn't make it better. Just loud and angry.

This crap is why there won't be a "New Emergency." Hollywood doesn't have a clue how to make a new show.

Seems like those two officers were running everything. Even with that shooting incident, they didn't even bother answering when the female officer was asking if they were okay. Way to work as a team.

What a crappy carry on of the old Adam-12.The old one was based upon factual cases, " the names have been changed to protect the innocent." I've been on the job since 1981. I joined the LAPD because of Adam 12. The newer one was too hollywoodish. The policies & procedures exhibited in the old show still r in effect in todays real LAPD. Great show!
