@hambone9119 Thats great to hear mate. Doc looked a little out of it on rockquiz but he has been thru hell after the car accident, I heard. I hope they stick together and dont fragment again. We dont have many true legends of oz rock left mate - these days its all the pre fab stuff from idol and x factor. These guys are the real deal.
@mike1964180 True very true , in a week i am seeing Angry Anderson with Current line up of Rose Tattoo RIP Mick Cocks, had the pleasure of meeting him very down to earth, Over here in perth there are some Real Rock and roll bands emerging from the woodworks, 3 i can guarantee you will enjoy, Still-fire, The Novocaines and Hunting Huxley, Think Jimi Hendrix the rolling stones and Ac/dc, but original and very fresh at the same time,
@hambone9119 Mate you are lucky to have that opportunity. Good stuff. I am green with envy. These days, we have to appreciate Jet and The Vines and hope they develop into something special. Check out two Tasmanian bands... Hannah, and my nephews band, The Overview, schoolkids that have stayed together and only do original stuff. A bit John Mayerish for me as yet but they are developing their own style beautifully.
Jimmy chipper "U beauty" USA fellas listening to the Angels in 79!!! I agree with acdc/ cheap trick combo..I'm 40 now but always remember Axle rose/angry Anderson playing with Angel City in LA in about 89/90..wish I was at that GIG!!!!!! cheers " The Devils Gate is opening on You"..
A pal turned me on to this band around 79 in Charlotte, NC. We thought these guys had the coolest combo of AC/DC old style groove, w Cheap Trick etc pop sensibilities...we covered Long Line & Shadow Boxer...and not terribly well either...ha...
Doc was on spicks and specks last night ABC and I can only admire what he and other rockers do for our troops overseas. This was a bit of a secret I guess but Doc, my hat is off to you for what you are doing. Its good to see ole rockers not only having a really really good time, but doing my than there share for us.
no way get fucked fuck off!
