@cblakelym2 I believe the Italian label "Rearward" sits on the rights for the Gigi Campi recordings, as well as a full shelf of unissued tapes. One can only hope some of it will be released some day.

I've been looking for this LP for years, but no luck. This was one great band. Too bad it is so unknown not just to the general public, but big band lovers also. I've tried to get Mosaic to issue a CBBB set, but they're having problems getting licensing approval. I have a radio broadcast of this band, including two tracks with singer Dakota Staton, that I'll trade for a copy of this UK library issue "Jazz Convention". Balthazar200, are you listening?

Fantastic!! I've been looking for this album for years! 'Un Grão De Areia' is Gary McFarland's finest composition IMO. And this version is way cooler than on 'Latin Kaleidoscope'! A pity the last minute is missing from this clip. Is the ending arranged in the same was as on the other album?
