My dad had a GNX as a kid. He used to be really into cars. Drag raced a 55 Bel Air in the 60s. Had it for about a year and took it everywhere. As a daily driver and family trips. That car is no joke, you can haul the family cross country, do your grocery shopping, or rip the doors off of any car. I was about 7 or 8 when he had it and still remember the speed. He is still kicking himself for returning it to GM. He said "the fastest car I ever had and the most comfortable."
