  • I love this version, but not for reasons most people think. The very melancholic arrangement juxtaposed against the title makes it seem quite unfitting, but it fits.

In short, "Flash in the Dark" = Hope. Arrangement = No hope.

    *mindblown*

  • I like it.

  • if they can make flash in the dark sound this sad, imagine what they could do to the ending theme from mm2 if they made an arrange track for that.

  • Faster, please? -_-

  • what the fuck did they to that epic theme? D:

  • @dakatubes its called covering it! you dumb ass. its just a shill version of the insane awesome version dumb ass! hell this version is awesome as well!

  • @AgentOrange502 I know it is covering, you shit head. It's a bad version of the awesome theme, at least in my opinion, you shit head.

  • @dakatubes thats because you're very close minded in music.... you listen to metalcore, horrible genre.

  • I love this song. And I particularly love the pose on the album. It makes all the Robot Masters look awesome - even Jewel Man, king of effeminacy.

  • This is really cool! A nice change in mood that is the best of the MM9 AST I've heard so far.

  • kick ass song

  • pretty cool

  • The beginning reminds me of Blizzard Wolfang's theme.

  • I'm gonna get flagged to hell and back for this, but quite honestly, the arrangements all sucked for the most part

  • You are wrong good sir/madam, for it is an opinion and I respect your opinion.

  • some of them were actually great, maze of death is a personal fav

  • I thought they weren't too great at first, but they grew on me. This is one of my favorites.

  • I imagine this song as being the song to play after Mega Man had to defeat those 8 Robot Masters and begin his assault on Dr. Wily's castle alone and almost immediately. It's definitely a "Pick yourself up hero, the job's not finished yet" song.

  • yeah since when you think about it, Mega Man was forced to destroy his own brothers and sister since like Roll they were also created by Dr Light, so when you think about this, this game is kinda dark compaired to past titles in a sense

  • But they aren't destroyed. They live. Didn't you see the ending credits?

  • yeah but thats because Light Rebuilt them and reprogrammed them and gave them new experation dates so they wouldnt feel useless anymore

  • they were all created by light but theyre not really "brothers" since they have no connectionwith each other, because theyre robots. Also, in megaman powered up, you can crearly see that roll has a crush in megaman, and also in the end of mm8 you can see how happy she was that mega was alive.

  • @alextc08

I DID notice that... So are expecting robotic incest?

Pffft... I'm not making any sense...

The Roll vs Copy Roll from MMPU makes it more obvious... Anyway, they are called: "Industrial Humanoid Robots"

So there's possibly a relation(well the later robot masters have adopted the designs of the original 6, when I said 6 it doesn't include Rock and Roll. Then game of after game, they adopt several characteristics from previous Robot Masters)

  • This is more better for either the end credit's or a Climatic End Battle!

  • song like a "love movie theme rock eightys song"

  • By itself, this isn't that bad of a song. It's when its compared to its much more faster paced(and in my opinion, better) version that it falls short.

  • I think this sounds good.......

  • I like this arrangement actually. It speaks of soul and epic struggle with high stakes. Too much Mega Man music is all power power faster faster imo.

  • Wow, my jokes have sucked lately XD Don't worry, I'm done posting them, so I'll mark the bad ones as spam, or could you remove them? If you could, that would be great ^~^

  • Already remove ^_^.

  • Thanks =D I just posted them out of boredom... So I didn't think people would like them XD

  • @ShiniChameleon 1:31-1:34 Sounds like a Riff from Santanna's "Hold On"

  • This arrangement seems to try to give off a David Gilmour vibe but sadly falls a bit short of the mark.

  • i actually liked thissong...yeah..this is not the best arrangement but its decent
