People, just so you know, Magic Bullet is a tool used in Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate video editing software. You have to buy the software to get the tool.

Magic Bullet can be used in many other programs as well. In my case, it is used as a plug in with Final Cut Express.

@anrivel That's because he has the autofocus enabled. The camera focuses what's in the center of the lens. The water becomes in focus when he centers the camera on it, then it becomes blurry when the camera re-focuses on the person. If you're doing serious shooting you never want to use autofocus.

@anrivel hi used the method called "shallow Focus" these means that you sand far away from the guy or thing that you want to film then zoom in all you can and you'll have the shallow focus.

I checked their site and they have this new magic bullet looks lite, for 99.00 Dlls its like magic bullet looks but without the bells and whisles, still its pretty good bargain but my computer its Vista 64-bit and magic looks only runs on 32-bit :(

Hi! When I use magic bullet (stand alone) I cannot import video, just images. why?

The stand alone version is supposed to be used on images only so you can create or edit looks on the move (just throw it onto a memory stick). Using Looks with video means you must have it plugged into another app (like AE, Premiere, etc) so it can use the video processing power of that app to render the video output. Looks can be applied onto an image easily, but needs an app to apply it to video.

you really need to understand, if the script is good and/or the actors are good it will be good! that's what really matter, not "the look" of your video. if you really want good looking try to work on angles and all of that good stuff, that's what importent not the "blue look"... i'm sorry: but hwo the fucking hell care about it?

you want to get reall look of film? get some rolls camera in about 25,500$. than it will look as you want.

You have to realize that all video that is shot is not as crisp and lush as the real life scene that was shot or does not display the proper mood that is desired. This is where color correction is implemented. All mainstream films are color corrected.
