Hey there! Fan of your videos! Um so my case came very dirty with this white soapy residue on the inside of the case, was this the same with yours? If not, I'll return it and purchase a new one.

@TheJemteck I'd probably return it just to be on the safe side. Mine did come somewhat dirty though. I just washed it out before installed it on my comp. Hope that helped!

I like the protection you get from the case but it is definitely a pain to take off. I always feel like I'm gonna break the screen just to get this cheap plastic protector off!

Also, the top part makes the lid too heavy so the screen will either close by itself or open way too wide when I move my MBP 15". I don't use it anymore for this reason alone.

Do you have any scrathes on your macbook pro from uninstalling the case?

@DmytroRyzhkov Not so far. I've often worried about accidentally scratching my MBP when uninstalling the case, but you should be fine. I still however haven't found a super simple way to take the case off. It's always a pain.

@DmytroRyzhkov No problemo! Yeah, both probably wouldn't be a bad idea. I only use the bottom part of the Speck Case, then I have a carrying case for it too when I travel. Using the top lid imo makes it way too heavy. Enjoy your new case though!

Great video i purchased the speck case as well for my mac and at first i was pleased but it's not just you the case is extremely difficult to take off and put on. Because of this i didn't take it off as often and because of that i ended up with several noticeable scathes around the edges which sucks.

here's a con. i also had alot of trouble removing the case. when i was uninstalling it, i got a little scratch by the top right clip for the bottom. its small but it still looks ugly if i happen to focus on it.
