It's amazing how much the Spurs tail-dived from 1982-83 to this '84 season..other than a new coach and a few different players here and there, I don't see how they went from being a 53-win team in the Western Conference Finals to being 4 games under .500 coming into this contest..this was the beginning of the end for the Iceman-Gilmore San Antonio team..
@LuigiLaker Well, I guess Artis Gilmore missing more gameshad a big impact, but you're right, that is a surprising decline for the team. Would be interesting to check their record without Gilmore in '84. Interesting about all of the 90's Bulls players, didn't notice that at first except for Cartwright and Paxson.
