  • Beautiful. For me, the worst post war architectural loss was the awful demolition of lych street and the gate. Still, much survives and it is a lovely place

  • Oh and St Dunstan who started building the cathedral had knocked the previous one down, so it was even older! Just to let you know!

  • I'm afraid Worcester's history is a lot older than that. The cathedral itself was started in 1084
