I watched BNSF do the samething on 4/1/11. That is a lot faster than the old way. On to part 2. I've always enjoyed watching the new ways of track repairs.

We couldn't have those cars in this country - our loading gauge isn't generous enough to allow a turnout to sit like that without fouling bridges, tunnels etc!

We have the same thing going on over here on the Mactier sub - conversion to 136 pound rail so everything must go.
