@thewewguy8t88 Yeah, I was there when it happened. A major power failure basically shut the whole place down (no lights, music, rides, etc.) for half an hour or so. The Goliath got stuck on its way up with the passengers facing the sky, but it took at most 45min to get everyone out, not 3 hours. I haven't heard of another time the Goliath got stuck, though, so it's still waaay safer than Le Monstre xD

personally i think that the goliath in Magic Mountain, California is much better. Not to put this one down, but all its mostly just a bunch of hills. the California Goliath is SUPER high, and has many twists and turns.

That version of the ride is a bit dull compared to all the other ones. Most of the other Goliath's resemble the same course that Titan does at SFOT. This one is different from all the others. But it does have some good humps to it.

Despite how it may appear, Goliath is the smoothest roller coaster I've ever been on... it is SO MUCH FUN! Not the least bit scary... you feel almost as if you're flying. It alone is worth the trip to La Ronde! La Ronde is a top-notch park... very well designed and many great rides!

Goliath is really cool, but would be a lot better if you're able to go faster. The first drop wasn't fast enough... relying on the gravity force isn't thrilling. The first drop on the Orbite was pretty good though.
