@AtlantaSpike We know that Hank Garland provided the guitar work on some of the Country Style USA clips (Blue, Blue Day) with Don Gibson, recorded at Bradley Studios. Gene Sloan has the guitar solo on another Pet Milk Grand Ole Opry show Gibson clip (Lonesome Number One). So, the answer is I don't know... but I bet it could be Sloan. - Al
Right on! I've had two of these saved but both were deleted after I saved them. Glad it's back again. This performance is priceless. Gibson was a fabulous songman, and June Carter had more charm, class, grace and natural performing ability than a hundred of these tramps out there warbling now.
wow... June is like All GUSHY at the top of this klip... sounds like she got her a lil'
OL' MAN- Krush on ol' Don here!!! She sure looks like she is havin' a Truck-load o' fun, tho, Bless her heart. Love Don's GINORmous Gibson Arch-top, too. Every one else played Flat-tops, so he was pretty unique that way.
So far the best version.Unfortunately it is quite short.

@mrtwang32 cool that u picked up on that Super 400, notice when Don sang in bari range he sounded very Johnny Cash-like.

The lead guitar on this track was quite tasty. Love to know who it was.
