Heres a bettter stragety from the start of the game never increase your health, increase your BP and if needed FB. So there is a Badge at the casino that you can easily get by gambiling in the arcade buy as many as you can. The badge cost 34 casino points. What it does is that if mario is in Dager it increases it's attack by 2 if you about 20 youll do about 20 damage each turn. And you don't have to bother with Ultrashrooms just life shroom. U won't die because no boss does 10 AP at the begging

I'm suprised you won, if you actually did, you have one serious problem with fighting the shadowqueen, YOU ARENT USING VIVIAN! Vivian IS very important to dodge the shadowqueens strongest attack, which progressively gets stronger. You mad a bad mistake not using vivian

Its easy to know them by heart by using the "timing tutor" badge, basically it puts an exclamation point up when you should press a to perform the stylish move.

heres a good strategy for this battle......use supernova on the queen to make her take 15 damage then just keep attacking until the roulette starts up to match up shine sprites (U WILL ALWAYS GET THE MATCHUP TO RESTORE HP, FP AND SP). Then use supernova again. And remember to pack at least 2-3 ultra shrooms, jammin jellys, and shooting stars or thunder rages. Make sure u use Vivian's veil when the queen powers up. and always do stylish moves to get SP up. Try to always take out her hands first

i remember, on mah 1st playthrough i got her down to 8 hp, and then i died. FRIKKEN 8!!! i was so pissed! i was like "goddamit!" but i was a noob then with like 6 badge points or something. i dont know how i made it so far into the game like that.

might be the last boss following the story, but the hardest boss is in that cavern with 100 rooms. the last room, 100th. the boss is hard as all hell. you really have to have a high lvl character to beat it : p

Curseswordsman is right. Super Paper Mario is in fact an RPG. It may not be turn based but it is still an RPG because your character can level up and get stronger as you progress through the game.

Good examples of a platformer would be games like Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy.

Dude....that boss took me 5 months after reaching her just to beat her...SHE WAS SO *****ing hard to beat! I had to use Koops just to use his shell thing every turn then when he was almost dead i had to use the shadow sis for the hide in the shadows thing then...I had to use my trusty...Gombalina! XD naa..I use the bomb guy set up some bombs and the rest is a blank! But i beat her with 7hp!!!! XD 5/5

I beat her at level 45.

The first time was a failiure, but I managed to guess her attack pattern. I just stuck to using healing items when neccesary, used the hammer and special star powers alot, and blocked most of her attacks while doing loads of stunts to get the audiances attention. Second battle I won, if nearly all my health left. :)

Get much hp, do much spring jumps (I did) and use star powers often, also, get lots of health items and it should not be a problem. It were like 3 years ago I beat her, but I think thats the way I did it :)
