@cowbell4kid Still doesn't add up there killer. I max out at 275 and can put up 100's for sets of 5-6. My lifting partner maxes at 315 and puts up 100's for 9-10.
Only way I can see you only getting 4 is if you had only db pressed a couple of times and it was new to you.

Dumbell and barbell are not compareable. I incline 55lbs dumbells 8 times and barbell 115 8 times. I dumbell bench 80x4 and 267x1. You ujst can't compare them

Hmm it really depends honestly. I can bench 225 easily which isn't much but i can dumbell press 100 pounds multiple times. The reason my bench isn't that far ahead of dumbells is because i haven't done bench in a while because of a shoulder injury. Most people will be able to bench much more than their dumbell weight, and diverges more the more weight you increase like cowbell said
If someone benches 600lbs then that doesn't mean they can do 2 300lb dumbbells. as you get stronger in bench the weight split between dumbbells becomes greater do you get what I mean?

Well I have seen some dumbbells 120-150lb at a gym near mine though I haven't seen anyone strong enough to use them, so right now there just paperweights.
The set after this on the 3rd rep it started to stall and i said "its goooinnn UP!" and it did very slowly. I should of video taped it :( was amazingly goofy
