You can choose for it to make a noise or just have the vibration or even have nothing at all.

Menu > Settings > Profile > Edit > Touch screen

We know that you probably have recieved your handset already but we have had to odd freeze here and there but nothing unusual with todays mobile phones. Texting is so easy with this handset due to the haptic feedback - vibration when touching the screen. You have a QWERTY keyboard which is well spaced and the normal mobile phone keypad which is also easy :)

Hey slicksilver07,

We feel the reason for no vibration is because of the settings in the profiles menu. Try this:

Menu > Settings > Profiles > Now tap the bottom left sub menu key > Edit > Alert by > Change to Ring and Vibration, should be the 4th option.

Now scroll down and select Touch Type and then choose either Touch Vibration or Touch Tone & Vibration.

We'll create a video for this for you so you can visually see what to do.

However we put it here also. Follow this steps:

First we need to ensure the Viewty is in Mass storage mode if you are copying to a memory card:

Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Connectivity > USB Connection > Mass Storage > Save

Now we need to connect our Viewty the our computer - doesn't matter if its a PC/Laptop/Mac. Using the USB cable connect the phone....

.... Now your computer should automically pick up that a mass storage device has been connected and open a file folder for the Viewty. If not sometimes it comes up with a message and then select 'File Explorer view'.

Ok now you will see several folders by the name of: Videos, Images, Pictures, Documents, Others, etc

All you need to do is copy the right file to the right folder so for videos copy and paste or drag and drop into the videos folder and the same fo documents....

This is a widget that if we remember correctly goes directly to the homepage when pressed. There is no menu option to remove this however we do believe that it can be done by using the EDF Manager downloadable from KU990 . co . uk which gives you access to all the files deep into the phones system. However we must state only do this if you know what you are doing because deleting the wrong file can damage your handset and invalidate your warranty.

The LG Viewty is their best product released so far to date. The handset surpasses the Chocolate in many respects:

The reason for this is because you can choose the level of vibration plus what kind of vibration response.

More than sufficient, we have no complaints about the haptic technology.
