you dont just do a certin amount then exspect to see results you do 15 - 20 in a session for how ever many you choose to do of those till you see results everybodys body is different .
@aditya104 No it is not at all bad for your neck and back as long as you use correct technique. You should not pull on your neck. If done properly crunches are very good for your back's health.
