  • EPO power!

  • smooth as EPO

  • The man was doped to the heels. 10-15 years ago we were still naive, but now we have already seen enough pictures of drug cheats meteorically rising and running 10 m ahead of others.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. Wanted to see it, never saw this run.

    Great performance.

  • is the world record of the 800m from co,

  • And he is DANISH..........not, but maybe in hard...if he wasn't living in Monaco.

  • 陸上史上最もキレイなフォーム。

  • Smooth as silk Kipketer was mesmerising to watch regardless of the times he ran. As for the time 8 of the best 11 times ever. The greatest 800m runner ever.

  • Seb Coe is the greatest 800m runner ever how long did He hold the record, a very long time, set in 1981, I believe. even Wilson says He"s the best, won 1,500m in 1980 & defended in 84, in his weaker event. Coe was untouchable & fastest last 200m of any runner easy!!!!

  • 800 m 1:41.11 Wilson Kipketer Denmark August 24, 1997 Cologne, Germany

  • watch up kipketer I will be the first runner who gets under a 100 seconds in the 800 and the whole world ´will scream my name! ERIK! ERIK!.....

  • haha. not.

  • lol, these speakers sux. I understand what they r saying, and they don´t excite the race at all

  • In '97 Kipketer was unbelievable. Just imagine he would have had three more years like that, up until sydney

  • The whole generation of Africans running on EPO since 1995 was unbelievable.

  • In my mind not as great as Coe's run in '81. Kipketer had pacing for longer and tracks had become faster in the ensuing 16 years. Also, Coe's was run at a very low key race in early June. One talks about Kipketer having run faster had he not suffered malaria! Well the same could be said of Coe, whose '82 and '83 seasons were decimated through illness. These years should have been his best in terms of age, and he always felt he had "to walk away from an event he never fully explored!"

  • Wow! At his prime this guy was magnificent. he was never the same after a bout of malaria. Nevertheless, a breathtaking performer!

  • Thanks for the video! Amazing athlete - he could have run even faster times if he had not contracted malaria in his prime.

  • Thanks for the video! Who knows what he could have run if he had not contracted malaria...

  • What a legend what an athlete . It took many years for Seb Coes record to be broken and now it looks like no one is threatening his world record for any years

  • What happened to the full race?

  • This the only one i could find
