Thank you for the clarification. We both agree on the right way to play bass. Regarding Sunset, I'm extremely familiar with it having played many times with Joe Cocker, Mitch Mitchell, the Pat Benatar band, Eric Burton and other notables at the Central, now called the Viper Room. I do like your band so please lighten up.
@capthead It's all good bro'. Used to jam @ the Central back in the day.It was cool but no House Of Blues.Played w/ Mitch Mitchell @ the Teaser a few times. Played & recorded w/ Pat Benatar's guitarist/hubbie Neil Giraldo and drummer Myron Grumbacher. Neil produced my band & I did sessions for him. Good times and I'm still kickin' it. Guess we all pay those dues, huh? Be well and keep rockin'.
@dougderinger Amazing that we both played with the same people. I enjoyed Myron's drumming a lot. Be cool and keep kickin the bass. Hope to meet up with you some day. Bass players seem to never team up.
Sorry dude, but NO PICKS!!!! You don't play ZZ Top and use picks on the bass.....I use my fingers like picks pal.....Where did u get that idea? Maybe it's hard to see in the video but I'm not using a pick bro'....Just my fingers, so back off Big Time.....BTW; When was the last time you played The House Of Blues on the Sunset Strip?
Hey Brother, Thanks. Glad you like it. We have a lot of fun doing this gig. If you're ever in L.A. let me know and I'll tell you where we're playing. I have more video on the band I'll be posting soon. Thanks again for the kind words. Best, Doug A.K.A. Rust Chill

Bass players don't use picks dude. Fingers, thumbs and hands. That's what they use.
