However, we are a generated people, and therefore, each generation must transform into its own. I know singing gospel is about saving souls, so i'm not gonna dispute that. and don't get it wrong, the message in this song is gonna do what it is sent out to do, and thats exhort(inspire). apparently some of you haven't heard the original version. this doesn't do it any justice. its like this, some song are meant to focus on choir, meaning lead singer and background be on on accord, like a team should be. she's more of a solo act and trying to do choir song as a solo act dont work.

sound terrible, no annoiting neither,. this song is about annoiting not trying to use vocal skills, runs and false settle,,,and the arrangement suck.....lord help
i didn't say the singer wasn't annoited, i said there wasn't any annoiting on her Singing of this song, um u can separate the two can't you, i'm talking about this one particular song.. quit trying to modernize(contemperary) movies and music, that the problem,, the reason why something are powerful and annoiting is because the originals usually transcend generation and u don't need to touch it.. let the song be,, plain and simple.
by the way, if ur gonna record a song like this, get out the studio and do a live recording, now i don't doubt that she rocked the song performing it live... just some songs don't go over right without performing it live...

The first time i heard this song i was in my car and i almost had to pull over because it touched me in so many ways. now I Listen to this song every morning before i go to work and on the way back home and for me its a 30 min drive and thats all i need to get into His presence(especially when its on repeat!!!!!)

i really love shari too death, on the show i couldnt wait till she performed. However you official Sunday's Best is also GREAT! I am just so happy they both are able to do what they really wanted to and dreamed of. They are truely humbled and blessed, and my bday is coming up and if any1 ask me what I want, these two cd's are requested :-)
