Yes, I believe most people use the irregular form of the past participle: "shown," but you might also hear "showed" as the past participle. It's one of those verbs that differs from region to region. Most people in the American midwest use "shown" as the past participle.
@hanna19991 - "am," "is," and "are" are in the present tense. The simple form of the verbs is "be." There's a big difference between the simple form of the verb and the present tense.
@learnamericanenglish but sir shouldn't we say verb "to be" for the verb "be" infinitive ? and we say " base" for " be"? as i thought that "simple" in your video stands for persent simple,, now i'm confused :) or may be because i never recall saying "simple form" before
@hanna19991 -- You can say "base form," infinitive form," or "simple form." it doesn't really matter. If you look at enough books about English grammar, you'll see that all three terms are used. Just don't confuse the simple form with the present tense. They're different. Watch my video about the simple form in English. That might help you.
Otro video más (ya son muchos lo se) mientras más vean mejor será su pronunciación, ademas cada quien elije el que más le guste. este solo menciona los pasados de los verbos, no incluye participios, la pronunciacion de este profesor es muy clara.
