  • actually the vocals are from korgis, beck covered this.

  • I didn't like it at first but the third time was a charm.

  • are the vocals sampled? if not, who's singing? IS IT AXEL?? that'd be sweet.

  • MOS DEF WORTHY OF INFINITE REPEAT

  • ... Man, you can say that again! ""Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime"" .... mumm

  • 00:54 Sounds really strangely like Nude by Radiohead

  • Comment removed

  • @OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth

sounds strangely like the 80s song 'everybodys gotta learn sometime' by the korgies that radiohead did a (fantastic) ripoff of

  • @MrAllthisandmore That's almost insanely ridiculous to say. None of the rest of it is anything like it, it just happens to have a similar sound. They might never have even heard of it!

  • @OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth

hey man. radiohead is the best popular rock band of this era. but it happens all the time. led zeppelin for instance is mostly uncredited blues bricolages. it's the fundamental nature of rock music. hip hop also. welcome to the postmodern era.

of course, theyve heard it. note all the other covers. it's a pretty well known song.

  • @OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth What are you talking about? It very clearly has the same lyrics as the original by The Korgis, as well as sampling the song in general. He's just done some very heavy effects processing on it. Besides, KOMPAKT artists are known for doing homage remix covers like these. <3

  • @daikuarumando Did you even read the comment I was replying to? I wasn't talking about the Field...

  • @daikuarumando Can you recommend any good KOMPAKT stuff (like this) to check out? Never heard of it before reading this post, and too much on the website to get a handle on!

  • @olanavichskiable hmm, many. label owner Michael Mayer's Immer and 2 follow ups. Superpitcher's Happiness, Superpitcher's mushroom, The modernist's pearly spencer etc etc...

  • @olanavichskiable - Check out Gui Boratto. In my opinion, finest music on Kompakt!

  • Change your heart, look around you...

Change your heart, it will astound you...

I need your loving like the sunshine...

  • kommatara re paidia....kommatara

  • ocheni superskaia pesenka.....100%

  • People don't get this album but that doesn't matter... The Field will always be one of the greatest misunderstood bands of all time

  • @fakant This is a cover, just in case you didn't know :)

  • @OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth I did... at first I didn't like it too much because I compared it to the cover by Beck which is really good as well but it has REALLY grown on me

  • Love this song!!!!, the original by Korgis is great, but by The Field... so DEEP!!!!!!!!

  • theres a version of this by Baby D- I need your loving

  • pureness!

  • I'm the only person that I know of that 1: loves this Artist and 2: even knows about this band in the first place. Everyone I've showed this music to didn't like it. They're all missing out!

  • @DavidVRJ you're the only person that i know of that 1: makes retarded comments on this video and 2: thinks their obscure music interests make them cool. you're categorically boring and you don't realize it. sorry buddy.

  • I LOVE THE FIELD! Please check out my music influenced by Axel Wilner on my youtube channel......HOBBZIFICATION.......you may like the tracks 'A Cut Up Heart'; 'The House of 10CC' & 'Praline Pur'

  • eek, awful!!!

  • a new video on the channel: glasklingen

  • Dire. The Korgis version is by far the best.

  • i must say this is quite disapointing to the last album, but at least the elements are still there................personaly ill still keep sublime in my listnin collection

  • this sucks ass

  • @emailsanchez NO U

  • <3 <3 <3

  • beautiful

  • BECK IS BEST!

  • @dpmduran best version is from NRG

  • nuke....can't say I liked NRG all that well, compared to the original and Beck's version. I don't think it translates well as a rap, drum and bass song.

  • @nukewashington best version is from baby d!

  • I've been looking all over for this song, but not knowing anything about it, until now!

  • yikes kolstom. this album is recorded live with musicians. wouldn't hurt to read a thing or two about something before you criticize it, it's embarrassing to not know what you're talking about in front of other people...

  • this guy is the genius

  • best song from yesterday and today

  • Hey there everyone! If you like the Field you'll probably also like /watch?v=4lk00VTjgdc

    Dont forget to comment!

  • eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

  • I have heard countless remixes of this song too and this is the only one that really struck a cord with me, the fields minimalist style goes perfectly with this song.

  • I've heard many remix of this track by different artists, none of them reaches Korgis brilliant original song from 1980. This is okay though.

  • I am in love with this version. I played it over and over again about twenty times in a row yesterday, and I'm playing it again today. I think I have found my new favorite artist.

  • Hylton you are a soul less listener !

Remix doesn't mean doing better, but just different. Just say : I'm a soul less hater.

  • you kidding, this is what a cover should be like!

  • orgasm music in-fucking-deeed!!!!

  • The Korgis'.

  • nice... which came first...

    this version or Beck's rendition???

  • Beck's

  • definatly becks - it was used as the theme for the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

i like becks a bit better though....

not too take away from the fields work.

  • well the original is done by The Korgis back in 1980 right???

  • this is orgasm music

  • magnificent song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
