I think that nuclear terrorism is definitely a threat to the US national security and to the entire international community. Al Qaeda declared its intentions to acquire weapons of mass destruction numerous times. Unfortunately, the issue is too complicated for the general public to think about it and for politicians to deal with it. However, the US public must be shocked about the devastating consequences of a nuclear terrorist attack, there should be more active outreach to the general public.
The is only one country that deliberately tried to kill people with a nuclear bomb and that country used it to kill people twice and thousands of civilians died. No other country has ever tried to use it. The USA has more nuclear bombs than anyone else, that fact alone denies the USA from making any comment about any other country.
