  • this is such a joke, the art world in nyc is a scam. can u imagine people who consider themselves intellectuals standing in front of black and white paper cut outs of cartoon characters, pretending to be "contemplating its meaning" Give me a brake. Someone glued string on a canvas and painted it white! brilliant! its only 40,000$ Mathew Weinstein is a selfish jew, who cant paint, all his "realism is painted by an poor talented polish kid who's barely surviving in new york. you all are idiots

  • neat smörgåsbord James!!!

  • Another Brilliant interesting video James,

    Many Thanks

    London Artist

    Stuart Ridley

  • you capture where you are in a great way. thanks james

  • ANOTHER GREAT POST DANKE!

  • As usual, James, I'm using your channel in my classroom and my students are loving it. Thanks for all you do! This one's great.

  • Glad to be of service, stay tuned for more great stuff.

  • i like the dirt pile number.

  • I don't know, this just confirms what i always feel when i come to NY -- that there is nothing interesting ever going on in chelsea -- the crass commercialism kills it. aren't big (but not too big) abstract paintings over yet? i guess not as long as they're selling.

  • thanks james from a landlocked midwesterner

  • Thanks, James Kalm!

  • exelent as always james!

    love Regler

  • Great opportunity to be at these openings. I'm sending this one to my ArtFreaks mailing group. They love your stuff.

  • Bradford's works are alien landing strips. Makes me think of home. Many, many thanks.

  • who needs a plane ticket, when we have James!

Thanks again for a great ride, N.

  • 'make like a deodorant and roll on', nice phrase.

  • i like the direction Bradford has taken his work. He seems to have obscured the idea of map a bit more.

  • thanks for the dekeyser

  • Stay tuned for a program featuring only De Keyser and Ofili, probably next week.

  • outstanding

  • Thanks James. De Keyser's works made my day. Serenity, beauty, depth...What more could you ask from an artist? Those small paintings are so powerful on these huge walls. Also the Kara Walker piece at 3.50: fantastic. Ofili, wan and flat; Bradford, explosive and mouthwatering..

  • Thank you!

  • first!!
