Both PNG and JPG have there advantages, typically PNG is a none compresses format, but JPG's only take up a quarter of the size with the compression barley noticeable to the human eye.

Yeah, brush sets and general presents are backwards and forwards compatible, so just install them as you did with CS4 into CS5

change the color type on it like RPG Color or what tha name is =/, you picked White, you can fix that on the start of making a paper thing

@sam183796 ... not to be rude but are you everyone? just because you have a larger size monitor doesn't mean everyone does and should. A size that suits most and is small enough to fit on monitors set at the minimum is standard 1024x768.

I actually did mention the name of the version of photshop I was using, and also that it doesn't matter what version you are using, as the tools i am using appear in the majority of not all photoshop versions.

O.o" Where's the freaking liquify! (after you got the colors on the top layer, liquify the bugger and go crazy with the move tool XD) You'll get a more balanced and irrational color flow. (which is what you want for an abstract) O__o"

I think after I saw some other tutorial and now yours, I can pretty much understand what the deal is. Basically you play with the type of brushes you use to get so many effects with minimal effort.
