  • Thanks for posting this great track. I sooooo wanna learn how to play this song before I die. Oh and 7 of you people will never get into heaven...

  • i scrolled down and one of the first things i see is fuck the french lol

  • this is a full of art.

  • why have i got no taste in music???? , the 1st stone roses album was the best debut ever in my ears and the long awaited release of the second coming was a bit too late for the fans but just play the whole album and see how much they progressed...........fucking fantastic album is all i can say...............

  • @2508col lol you were high when you wrote that

  • Please the Stone Roses come to France for the next summer! You have devoted fans over there and I'm one of them!

  • @lyonslaforet fuck the french

  • we've missed it 4 tooo long

  • @TheFloorFellAway

What kinda porn are you watching dude? If it's got this sort of soundtrack then we all need to be watching it. Or are you just putting the Second Coming on while you're touching yo mama?

  • Heaton Park, next June = the place to be!

Apparently all 220,000 tickets were sold in 68 minutes, first two nights sold out in 14 minutes. Fuck! That shows you just how hungry people are for music to be brought back to life.

  • it's not even a song

  • Fuckin' ace song, who are the critics to say this is crap, and yet they praise wank like Noah and the fucking whale, the magic numbers, kasabian and coldplay

  • @MrManchester316 to be fair comparing the roses to coldplay is apples and oranges, Oasis and the roses is a fairer comparison (and I haven't lisined to Oasis in the last 10 years, the roses however have rarely been off my playlist)

  • the resurrection = 29/06/12

  • probably my all time favourite.

  • Sounds like porn music. Shit. They were shit years ago, they'll be shit now they've reformed.

  • @TheFloorFellAway

If the Roses were shit years ago then how come your still listening to them now ??????

  • @2508col

I'm not. I was directed to this by a friend trying to convert me into a SR fan. Don't like it, or anything else they've done. Plus they inspired Oasis, can never forgive them for that.

  • @TheFloorFellAway porn music ;DD lol why all kids watching porn these days dont know what REal life and real music is

  • @jonnytheoasisfan

You have Oasis in your username, one of the most overrated bands of the last 30 years. Listen to Tall Stories From Under The Table by DOGS and see the error of your ways.

  • @TheFloorFellAway I prefer cats

  • @TheFloorFellAway sounds like arctic monkeys for me :p not bad but nothing special for me.

    I love overrating oasis

  • @TheFloorFellAway Oasis Forever.

  • they've reunited!!!!!!

  • bass rumblin , nice beat off reni ........then squire , fuckin squire lol lol

  • 2:03 you just wanna put ya hands the air and sing, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH IM GUNA BREAK RIGHT INTO HEAVEN, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH I CANT WAIT ANYMORE!

  • Yeah, the intro's really important to the trip, but an amazing song anyway. Not to take anything away from the guitar, but the groove of the bass and drums is amazing!

  • wheres the 11:20 minute long version, i loved that long jungle like intro

  • @smeatonx made the song 'more' epic

  • BRILLIAT!

  • This is amazing, how have I never heard this before? D:

  • @JarfJam have you been living under a stone lol

  • This is one of the most cool pieces of music ever, if you don't like this you don't do cool, so the 5 dislikes your fucking shit, but hey be cool.

  • All is perfect inside this song.

    ALL!!

Love the fuckin' amazing intro too!!!

  • Iiiiiiiiii am goina break right into HEAVEN..... yea

  • This song can take some Watts.

  • great song....it's good that the first part is cut off...thanks

  • damn this was my anthem when i was 15, all alone in my room learing (teaching myself) how to play guitar...and this was the album that was spun the most. Think im gonna buy it again on Itunes:-) Just a fan

  • 'Heavens gates wont hold me,.... i 'll saw those suckers down '

    probably best lyric ever!!!

  • i think that John Squire is the closest we have had to another Jimmy Page in the last 25 years. (British musicians)

  • 5 people dislike existence...185 love living...it's a landslide

  • It just sends chills down my spine the chorus. i mean its the fucking Devil saying he's gonna command an attack to heaven xDD

  • Fanatstic opening tune to a fantastic second album. Top class.

  • John Squire is God!

  • This song is just......uuuuuugh man so good.

  • hahahaaaa... 5 ppl didn't even come the fist time...

  • my fav of the stones

  • shit hot,,,,

  • Aw whit the fuck man! Whit happened to the rest of the intro? I love listening to the 40 minutes of jungle noises then that beat kicking in!

  • i put all the stone roses in the same bracket as messi. absolute genius!

  • John Squire said that at the time, he was influenced by Led Zepplin when he wrote the tunes. I've gotten myself into a few arguments over it. Does anyone agree?

  • @Dbusdriver71 Disagree. John Squire said in an interview that his favorite guitar player and the guitar player that most influenced him was Jimi Hendrix... "Why?" he answered "Because Jimi played like he was from another planet."

  • @braddyboy82 For the tunes of this album the second comming . I have a few magazines from the time that he states Led Zepplin as the main influence for the album. I remember him saying something about hendrix though; it wasn't in reference to the second comming. If you have contrary info please state the source; I will be the first to admit I was mistaken.

  • If there is a heaven, this is piece of it!

  • Breaking into heaven, Tears, and Daybreak, the very best of The Stone Roses.

  • Sounds like they used a drum machine for this recording. Then it could just be the way it was mixed.

  • @Billinois78 No, it was Reni playing it.

The sound, the rythm, the variations.. Everything shows it's Reni playing.

  • @Vugam Ok.

  • They break into heaven at approximately 3:27

  • Most of the intro has been cut cos he didn't want to space you. It's a really trippy intro lol! Brilliant song.

  • this song is perfection, to use The BhuddaFinger's expression!

  • This is mega... why nobody here in Italy knows them? :( Love The Stone Roses so much...

  • il sink this gin n hope ti die tit this

  • Squire can play that guitar man!!! very underated

  • That boy sure can drum. Ucking fawesome. Bonham would have been proud.

  • i love lightin up a joint, bowl, etc. when that guitar comes in at around 20 sec

  • @untiltheend22 im baked nowhaha

  • go on john.....

  • My favourite Roses song!

  • break into heaven steal the rest of the innocence n feed to the real music fans

  • only a northener could write they'd break into heaven the northern robbing barstard

  • @fuckalluhoes91

And only a southerner could write "Girls who like boys who like girls who like boys ect..."

Well thought out that one, And how on earth is Squire a "Robbing bastard" for writing those lyrics?

  • @Johnny1lap its a joke u twat i ment cos northerners r known for robbin stuff not for what he wrote u little shit cunt

  • @Johnny1lap Comparing artists from the South and the North in that manner is just fucking ridiculous. The WHOLE of the UK has created some of the best music ever written over a huge range of genres.

  • @JackWMS14 Especially rock and pop. Agreed.

  • dont hate me for this but i get bored of second coming easily :-/ when i listen to the debut i know i can never get bored :) not saying second coming isnt a good album, just that its not a patch on the first and that most of the songs wont be as remembered as all of the tracks on the debut.

  • @canopepsi I will hate you for saying that!!!

No just kidding, I agree with you.

  • Classic!!!!!! Stone Roses send ticlies down my back. Best intro ever, Takes me back to working the campsites of southern rance in the mid 90's

  • turn up the stereo-neighbours?? WHAT NEIGHBOURS!! listen up sweet child of mine.....TURN IT UP!!! amazing song-amazing album and ian brown is the man!!

  • bassline and drums in this album rock ass man

  • THEE MOST UNDERATED ALBUM OF ALL TIME

  • THEE MOST UNDERATED ALDUM OF ALL TIME

  • ive only heard this album before and would like to hear more of stone roses...

soo what album should i listen to???

  • @cheesemo10 The first album is just called The Stone Roses. Check it out, best British pop album for 30 years.

  • @rusty2222 thanks alot man (:

  • think i enjoy listennig to this more than the debut album.

wish i was back in 5th ave with some roses tunes blastin out! manchester in the area!

  • Mancs at their best!

  • This is what music is all about!

  • @TheLittleRudiger

    So true mate

  • reni lays this down with his bouncing hi hat rhythm, then the tremendous vocals...all reni

  • The haters only dislike, cause they can't jam like the roses.

  • all the great so called guitar players form a line behind the undisputed greatest,JOHN SQUIRE

  • @35nstlgtnhigh - he's several places behind Johnny Marr, man, and evern more behind a bucketload of others...

  • @HorridFroth thats your choice to think that way ma man,not everybody has the same taste,so please respect my opinion

  • @35nstlgtnhigh - You're absolutely entitled to that opinion, dude. However, he's clearly not the undisputed greatest, because I've disputed it...

  • Best bass line.

  • where can i get the bass line for this song

  • brilliant under rated album

  • 2:05 put ya hands in the air when ya sing that chrous

  • This is Perfection.

  • The change they made from the first album to the second one was nothing short of amazing. They did exactly what they had to do bar a couple of dodgy throwaway tracks on here and a few needless guitar overdubs.

For me it top's The 1st album for songs but of course doesn't play from start to finish as well as 'The Stone Roses' which is a perfect LP.

90's Music critics that slammed this were busy snorting coke and wanking on about 'Cool Britania'

Top 3 Best British Rock albums of the 90's

  • 1995 and the hash...

  • Sweet Child O' Mine , Have I Got News For You

  • You can clearly see that this song was the influence for Oasis- D'You Know What I Mean

    both great mind.

  • my fave roses song <3 LOVE THEM!!

  • fucking great john is un sung hero guitar legend

  • @giantbutcherdog Right... ! Holy Shit.......

  • God I miss Leeds.......

  • have a line a my dust....outta sight

  • Wait, is that that bass guitar I've heard about? Wow, it sure does add to the music.

  • @Wargoat6 sure does, the best indie bassline ever! Mani playing such a great groove.

  • Love John Squire's guitar solo around 5:00...

  • Top Guitars & Drums

  • one of the greatest songs ever. How can an album be mediocre with songs like this (or daybreak or tightrope or ..or..)

  • @Dienekes888 It was accused of being mediocre because of bad timing. Remember, the court case with Silvertone dragged on for almost 4 years and then the appeal took another year. By the time 'the second comming' was released Nirvanna came and gone, that unholy Damon Alburn arrived and then Oasis rose. Just bad timing. It breaks my heart because as good as this album is, this is the Stone Roses slowly drifting away; on the way down. It hurts to say that.

  • @Dbusdriver71 yeah it does hurt to say but i agree still good though

  • Music of a timeless quality

  • What I can't understand is how anyone can say this album was a failure?! It did really well here. I came here in the earily ninties. It sold really well here for a time. Apparently it didn't do so well in England. Perhaps like Oasis' album 'be here now' , Second Comming just wasn't the first album. STILL a brillant album from a historic band. Brillant.

  • @Dbusdriver71 I think The Second Coming is a better album, its more for stone roses fans and not just part of the Madchester scene.

  • @Andrial12 I always got the impression Ian Brown and John Squire didn't want to be part of the Manchester Scene at all. Tony Wilson didn't really endear himself to well Ian and John. I was there for the first so I believe the first is the best. Everthing just came apart. Then that UNHOLY Blur terrorized England. Thankfully Oasis saved us from them. Again, still love the Second Comming.

  • @Dbusdriver71

lol @ the Beatles pub cover band saving anyone lol

Aside from that hilarity, the first Roses album was groundbreaking and changed music, it bridged the gap between rave and indie. But I think The Second Coming is a better album. It's a pure rock album, and as such it's up there with the very best, and I think it will stand the test of time better than their earlier stuff. Rave & indie were of their moment, good music is eternal, and The Second Coming is just pure good music.

  • @boojum420 You know what I mean. Lately, Damon Alburn and his 'gorilla' band are terrorizing Asia; well, at least they were. I don't know what they're up to at this moment. Oasis was fantastic but it also came apart. Both bands broke my heart but am still very greatful to both of them; but the Stone Roses had the greater impact by far even though Oasis was together far longer and released a lot more material. That was my ultimate point.

  • The ending from 4.25-7.00 is brilliant. I suppose that in retrospect it is the sound of a band burning at its brightest to fizzle out quickly but that's what some bands do whereas others just create more average work for longer.

  • Love the song, never tire of it, or their two albums. What's always puzzled me: how much of a drum loop was this Breakin' into Heaven track. My guess is, it's in three parts. Can anybody put me wise on that score?

  • @jakeenan Doesn't like a drum loop.

  • I love this song, and am a huge Squire fan....however, it's now starting to remind me of We've got the Funk from the Mighty Boosh

  • the intro to this song is shit

  • I really like your taste in music-It's so similar to mine-Stone Roses-Ian Brown-You can't go wrong-Love the channel....Sub'd & fav'd :DD

  • BAD ARSE TUNE NO1##### CLASS

  • There are no words to describe how much I love this song...

  • have a line of my dust ,,i,ll find somebody i can trust

  • Ta lots for putting all these up off the second coming-I

lve the tracks-lost my cd tho.....*!&$£!!!!! BUT i found all thse uplaods from you-plus some--cheers alot-from an ol' roses fan!! :))

  • Heavens gates won't hold me I'll saw those suckers down @2:35 love that part!!

  • lol-yeah, me too-ha!!

  • this album was ruined by the vocal recordings, they should of got more out of brown, they should of multi tracked his vocals, infact the eq everything is just wrong, the instrmentation on this record is superb though. The songs are still good, but squire was on another level with this lp

  • agree man,the sound of the drums on each track is amazing.but ya gotta have a good player.and Reni is the best since moonie.

  • @redmeatheart lol

  • the solo at the end of this is fuckin top!

  • wanking over this is better than wanking over porn

  • i just had an eargasam to that bass line!

  • nice! best tune on the record...

  • Second coming is superior to the 1st LP....why? because breaking into heaven, tears and how do you sleep in totality are greater than Waterfall, which is the best song on the 1st LP. This LP is the bomb, fuck the critics.

  • I agree PlushLush Where the beginning of it?o_O

  • Never mind. It must be Youtube red tape.

  • Where's the rest of it?

  • this album is pure gold but the first album is untouchable

  • the whole albums just perfect full stop and its not just oasis that have Roses to thank for a new generation of indie sound.

  • @EvilRage1 it's a good album but compared to the previous offering that was,all thriller -no filler there are a couple of lul's in the content.Yes I agree fully that several indie bands took a great deal of inspiration from this album but the first one played an equal if not biger part in the equation!

  • Only just started listening to this album and it is fucking ace!

Also, check out my channel. I write my own stuff and this is an influence so you might like.

  • most underated album of all time!

  • Whoever said 2nd coming was crap, its so diverse at least they tried something different......................

  • @bolivianex I'll blaspheme and say it's better than the first, the guitar work's better it's less "pop"y and the lyrics....god damn THE LYRICS!

Secound Coming is.....above anything on earth.

This song and Love Spreads are proof.

  • I was airwankin this when i was 7!!!!

  • Everybody seems to be wanking over Squires guitar and overlooking Mannys shit hot bass in this track

  • Wkd tune...It gets better with time-& I aint old yet....So it'll be even more brilliant when i am-lol

  • you got it right on sparky! this song is awesome! heavens gates cant hold me, I'll saw those suckers down!!!

  • This is a swaggering masterpiece of a song. The kingdom's all inside indeed. ;~)

  • wow, must be +10 years since I last heard this tune - a fine vintage - I for one quite like the poseury guitar, so get in there squire, but what you doin now eh, overwanked it maybe?? Brown is the boy !!

  • SQUIRE is a icon you muppets what age are you all .

  • juhu :)

  • the guitar sounds like he is trying to rip off hendrix

  • no i like guitar i was just saying it sounds alot like jimi hendrix

  • big fucking deal if the guitar sounds like hendrix thats good. You guys sound a bit like a couple of homos naww more like alot.

  • lol how in any way is it cheesy?/

  • Sorry I votes this down thinking it was a negative comment.
