Whoopi was with a man who had a black face on. Harry Connic Jr comment was very remarkable. American do have a different taste from other country so we can't just judge other countries from our standards. I am against black face being used by Americans cause we already established that in our country.

Okay, I may make people angry for this but...the person who made the comment about White Chicks has a point. Many black comedians make a LIVING making fun of white people. Racial jokes sell tickets. When black people do it it's funny but when white people do it's racist??? I think white people have to be more careful because of the history of blacks' experiences in this country but it shouldn't be blown out of proportion EVERY time, you know?

Ok so its ok & funny when Eddie Murphy did the white face skit on Saturday Night Live or when Martin Lawrence played a white character called Bob , with Martin in white face makeup & wig, on his show Martin. Yet people are only offended and its only wrong when its a white person doing it. Not saying its right but it shouldnt be so one-sided.

@donna1175 But did the skits play upon negative stereotypes, that could lead to a person being discriminated against (like, on them being slow, retarded and lazy)? ..However, Eddie and Martin make fun of their OWN as well, however, it's always a negative and hurtful image w/ blacks (Rasputia, Shen-Nay-Nay) ..Blacks are equal opportunists, however, we make of ourselves the MOST, unlike whites who just make fun of everyone else (like their shit don't stick)and they've been doing that for CENTURIES

It's just a preacher being silly?! It is so interesting how it's okay to make fun of the 'silly preachers' but not black people. And just n case anyone gets it twisted, I'M A BLACK WOMAN.
