@chocolatebrown1000 He was a kid coming into his manhood but I think that Naomi would have helped with that. He had a talk with Sam about Naomi and how Sam was mistreating her that showed me that was man enough for Naomi. The actress(Audra) said that outside of her character, her favorite was Dell. I think she would have liked them to have been paired them with a good storyline but the show didn't know imo how to capitalize on the potential of this older woman/younger man romance.

I am so freakin mad, because i started watching the show because of these two. I really thought that he was going to fight her or something, but no they didn't give me anything. I hope that he stills likes her, because he was trying to prove himself to her in one the episodes. But that's just messed up. Can get a better season next time. PLEASE!

Sam is so much hotter than Dell but Dell's character is sweeter. Plus, Sam is an idiot for dumbing Naomi for no good reason. He doesn't know what he wants. Love the song and love Audra!!

I like Sam but I haven't rooted for him w/ Naomi since the pilot & spoke about why he gave up on their marriage. Then in this past season again he just did some things I found foul. His trying to sow his oats & live life to to fullest has gotten on my nerves and Naomi doesn't deserve a supposed grown man who can't seem to figure out what he wants when a young man still learning things about himself, seemed to know what he wanted when it came to Naomi. Too bad Naomi didn't give Dell a chance.

I don't know if Shondra just dropped it or not. The writer's strike happened so the first season was cut short. But Sam and Dell were supposed to fight for Naomi. When then season returned, there was NO FIGHT from either man. Dell said he got it, there was "no us" and he quit work then Naomi missed him and asked him to come back. They've had a few disagreements about things. I still want for Dell and Naomi to find their way to each other but I don't know that they will. I still want them.

I became addicted to the show after I saw this video this summer. I've been watching faithfully this season!!

But the real reason I'm commenting is that I have to know what is going on in that kitchen scene with them? She's wrapped in a blanket. What are they talking about???

This is my favorite pairing on television, ever, I think. I just like them both so much. LoL, the only other couple I was this concerned about was Ross and Rachel.

Cathiana18, per Audra McDonald that plays Naomi, Naomi will be torn between Dell and Sam for different reasons this season. So we'll have to see what it's all about. She recently called it quits with her "situation" with Sam so we'll see what's coming next.

I like both actresses but I think Audra and Chris have a nice chemistry and it works. I hope they will go forward with Dell and Naomi. I do like Sam but feel his re-interest in Naomi came when he saw how much Dell was into Naomi and once he and Naomi randomly had the sex, his interest definitely peaked. I think right now the "fight" for Naomi has more to do with Dell and Sam wanting to win more than really wanting Naomi. I think the excitement from everything turns Sam more than anything.

I enjoyed this one as well, although for some reason, I guess it's the writers strike, I'd forgotten all about this 'couple'. Look forward to seeing more of this 'special' couple when (or if) the show returns. Once again, although knowing ABC one of two things just might end up happening here. Either their 'relationship' will dissolve quicker thank toast, or they'll be another female character added to the mix just for him.

This has definitely helped me deal with the Private Practice withdrawal symptoms I've been going through thanks to the bloody writers' strike!

This was beautiful, gentle, lovely and it's a story line I hope is followed through when Shonda and company can get back to work!
