Zotac GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Core Limited Edtion Video Card Unboxing

I have this card and its not that good as my AMD 5870. I got very high fps drops and mouse lag in skyrim indoors (9 frames sometimes), but outdoors in very good (40-70). Very strange problem. I have tested driver 185.66 and latest 195.73, but its same shit. No different at all

@Cellwrath Don't listen to the other guy. This card can run BF3 at Ultra, but the FPS will vary depending on the resolution. If you want Ultra at 1080P, might as well get a 580. Otherwise, get a 560ti 448.

I've seen the benchmarks for this card, the 6950 still runs better, don't buy this people, buy a 6950, or a Factory Oc'd 6950 by GIGABYTE.

Since I posted the unboxing of the 560 Ti I have received a ton of messages regarding the 560Ti and troubles with Battlefield 3, it seems by default the fan spins at a 40% rate, and after playing BF3 for about a half hour many cards are locking up or kicking you out of the game. The solution: Install MSI Afterburner and turn the fan speed up to 100% and the cards will stop overheating, I do this on all my cards unless they are liquid cooled and it works very well.

What about enabling VSync and making your refresh rate ~ 60Hz? This will stop the card from going up to 100% GPU usage and I guess that helps temperatures a bit?

@motherboardsorg Your statement is true, BattleField 3 does work your GPU amazingly, so you need to cool it rapidly, I would not put 100 for my GPU Fan, I have mine on 70, having it on 100 may wreck the fan alot faster. Then you would have no fan at all. I've installed several new fans including a server fan to cool down my GPU, So far it's been cool and no crashes. Watch your GPU Temp on MSI Afterburner or any other program that does record GPU Temps and Shader clocks ect.
