Have you figured out the "high-b-sharp?" I am trying to find that tone but can't. Can't make a tone higher than high-a, no matter what I try. :/

@tratzum high f and g? those ones aren't too bad for me, I have difficulty with high a and high b-sharp or b-flat or whatever it is... I think it depends on the recorder. The little variances can make it such that certain notes don't come out easily.

my fav episode! well done playing it, i know it on guitar (soon piano), but i'm gonna learn the flute/clarinet for this, i got a recorder, but for some reason it was never my favourite instrument, it sounds great, but i don't get a nice feel for it.

@gaara2007 Thanks so much! Flutes and clarinets are great instruments. I play recorder, piano, and saxophone. My dad teaches music and can play any instrument that uses the normal notation system (no kidding).

I think its nice. Im not much for the recorded bcuz to me it doesnt seem like a real instrument. It was still pretty. The camera lagged so your fingers were different then the sound.

A lot of people think that the recorder is like a flutophone or some other simple instrument... Nevertheless, it is possible to have great skill with the recorder and play quite complex tunes. The recorder was actually a major instrument in the Baroque period of classical music (hence the name of a major recorder type; the "Baroque recorder", which is what I play).

@NathanielOfLight I generally see it listed as Theme from Inner Light. There's also the "Picard Flute Song" it gets called by, and most people will recognize either.
