You guys put together a good vid, but the only thing that just makes me sad besides MJ passing is that his die-hard fans didn't get the tickets. You two seemed like you were just part of it because you won tickets randomly and were not really fans for years and years. Not hating on you because I thought the vid was great apart from the beginning driving in as if you were going to a memorial of someone who you just really became aware of. Not your fault because it was a lottery.
i understand your sentiment. i really wanted to go, my gf not so much. but now bc of it she is learning more about mj, as many people are through his death. yes it felt weird to be excited about a funeral/memorial but this is the same sentiment many fans had when they won tickets.
yeah, I know...but the die-hard fans who always stood by him would have been their to remember and to mourn as they probably would have given anything to do. At least you are now learning about him. It just makes me sad that people in the US who didn't want anything to do with him other than throw stones or call him a freak are now all of a sudden buying his albums and appreciating him. It really could have been murder because so many are making so much money off of him after death.

it would have been very painful for me to be there, esp. after Brooke's speech and the family on stage. Watching people people sell tickets to profit off a dead man, thinking of fans in a lot of pain and who lost the lottery. BUT...it doesn't matter. He's dead and I never knew him personally. He died in many ways 15 yrs ago, now it's just official.You'd think we'd learn from out mistakes but we continue to watch people die as we sit back and watch. Just like Britney, Anna N. Smith, Lindsy Lohan
"we" seem to get more of a high off watching these people being destroyed by the media/rumors more so than just enjoying the talent they may have.
BUT...I'm way off subject. :) Video overall was good. Made me tear-up, and good editing. Your gal is cute even if she was just there for the circus of it all. :)
thanks for the discussion. i understand your views fully & respect them. i am & always have been a fan of mj. the artwork in the video is my brother's who is also a fan. i never believed the allegations. you can read in my blog more on how i feel about his death and work on my bog if are so inclined. peace
