  • Like the head shot as the second pos was falling down. Discipline.

  • favorite scene bad ass i would love to kill me some bad guy lol

  • how tom cruise fire the weapon is actually how they train in special ops. whoever trained him must of been a special forces expert

  • @3366catch It's called a speed rock. Special ops has nothing to do with it.

  • Isn't it weird how there's always a black man at the scene of a crime?

  • messed with the wrong person

  • 12 people tried to steal his briefcase

  • so badass.

  • Nicely done

  • Nice. But Vincent is a little girl next to Anton Chigurh.

  • @TheKrustaceox what makes you say that, vincent has military experience

  • @jimbobhk2009 so as Anton.

  • @TheKrustaceox oh, well it's hard to decide. anton is scarier thats for sure

  • This is one of Tom Cruise's best scenes ever

  • night night dirtbags

  • no way. i entered: "collateral yo homey, that my briefcase?" and this vid appearde.

thanks for uploading it, i love this scene. i didn's expect to find it.

  • One of the century's classic movie fight scenes. Realistic. Two morons with guns meet their demise due to typical hoodlum gun handling errors.

  • Lesson is, don't steal Tom Cruise's shit.

  • tom cruise is the only white guy that can say homie and get away with it

  • Criminality is relative, he was the good guy in this movie.

  • That is one of the most wicked scenes in that movie. Just starts walking around shots the guy in the head and is just like,"K lets go get a drink." Cold Blooded and Bad Ass.

  • Cruise needs to make more movies like this :))

  • they got Owned!

    The movie Rocks

  • MOZAMBIQUED THE FUCK OUT OF THEM!!

  • Haha Tom Cruise saying "Yo Homie"!

  • no pity for the lambs

  • I'm surprised Tom Cruise would shoot people while being taped. Did he get in any trouble for this? Besides - what is Tom Cruise doing in shady alleyways late at night? He's an actor for crying out loud. Why is he in the ghetto?

  • You don't fuck with The Xenu!

  • I don't think anyone in the history of existance has ever said 'Yo homie' to someone and finished it with such a beautiful, deadly kill. Vince does NOT fuck around.

  • That is totally bad ass.

  • Hoy en día cualquiera se cree Dios con un arma.

  • The best 34 second clip ever.

  • Perfectly executed "wrist-to-holster" technique there. Actually watched this scene in an EQCB course I took, and this is a tried and true method engaging an extremely close target while maximizing weapon retention and leaving your support hand free to punch, or in this case, disarm Bad Guy. Great movie, Michael Mann is a genius, no doubt about it.

  • Cruise trained with LA Sheriffs a their range in prep for this movie. He was damned good. Instructors said he was a natural and picked it right up. For all his weirdness, the man is a great natural athletic and gifted physical actor. Great, great scene.

  • Mozambique drill :)

  • "Looks like he just caused some..."

    (puts on sunglasses)

    "Collateral damage"

    YYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

  • @twotonguestalking713

Oh God, that was ingenious. I was just about to say that, but hats off to you sir.

  • @twotonguestalking713

    Hahahaha :D

  • @twotonguestalking713 YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • 2 star wanted level?

  • MOZAMBIQUE DRILL

  • That scene never gets old to watch!!! Now that is the way to deal with street rats!!

  • CRUISE CONTROLLED

  • Screaming Cockatoo cut that damn ponytail, it makes you look too threatening!

    ; )

  • This is a great scene in a great movie. That being said...as far as USP vs. Glock...I own 2 USPs and 2 Glocks. They are both great. The quality and design of the USP is clearly superior to the Glock. The simplicity of the Glock is an advantage. The Glock is designed as a defensive weapon. The HK is designed as an offensive weapon. If you shoot a lot, like me, you will find yourself much more comfortable with the USP. More comfort means you shoot it better.

  • Yea,it's a fantastic scene!

  • the only enjoyable 35 seconds Tom cruise ever contributed to my viewing pleasure.

  • @freedomsoldier187 Um Les Grossman ring a bell this and his les Grossman scenes are fucking quality.,...

  • Damn... I LOVE this scene sooo funny!

  • One for the fkn road, LOL.

  • Should be a heckler and koch add! Gotta love the usp. 45! But in balistic terms with the .45 acp why the double tap?

  • @USMCsemperfi85 It's been awhile since i saw the movie, but I think he shot the guy twice in the chest then once in the head on his way down.

  • @USMCsemperfi85 Extensive training + instinct = double-tap.

  • Bad fucking ass!

  • check it out.. in the second guy, he gets one in the dome as he falls down... sharp shooting

  • just another day of takin out the trash

  • The way Vincent drew his weapon and fired the first two shots was executed perfectly. That is the exact way you train in law enforcement, when you draw you should be able to fire immediately at the hip in situations just like this. Say what you want to about Tom Cruise, but he takes his acting very serious and he did his homework on the proper way to handle and draw a weapon from the holster.

  • This is simply what happens when you take Tom Cruise's briefcase...

  • lol sideways pistol holders.

  • Only pull it, when your ready to use it. They learned the hard way.

  • Comment removed

  • A Mozambique is a failure to stop drill. If two to center mass dont put him down, you follow up with a head shot. Thug B was already going down. Though a headshot helps. :)

  • sick!!!! xD

  • BOUT YO WALLET

  • THIS IS HOW YOU DEAL WITH THEM FUCKING CRIMINALS...

  • @KronnangDunn Tom Cruises character was a criminal you fuckwit.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 No shit? Really? NO way? How do you know? Because he was a contract killer? Why? Is just a job!!! Do you work for a living? That's just that... Is like working for a living... just that...

LOL. OF COURSE I KNOW SHIT-FOR-BRAINS...

    FUCKING CAPTAIN OBVIOUS LOL

  • @KronnangDunn Oh fuck another retarded person whos carer lets them on the internet.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 LOL. WHATEVER YOU SAY SHIT-FOR-BRAINS...

  • lol brad pitt got shot.

  • don't fuck with a man's breifcase

  • i love how tom cruise pretends to act all scared by raising his arms even though he already knows exactly how he's going to merk these fools...what a boss

  • check out the waist shot he did when he nabbed the gun off the guy that my friend is tatical shooting military special force style.

  • Mozambique drill is the correct usage of the word..never heard of tripper tap neither

  • its called the Triple Tap. Two in the chest, one in the head.

  • @tempss or Mozambique drill or Failure Drill. I've never heard it called triple tap. But thats just me.

  • The script called for 5 shots in 1.6 seconds. Cruise did it in 1.39. That's right. Tom will bique your whole crew in under 1.5 seconds.

  • To all that are debating Glock vs H&K, they both use the same type of vital, if not most important part, polygonal barrels. Both come in the same barrel lengths. The only thing H&K may do "better" is the recoil system prior to the 4th gen Glocks. The USP also weighs more than the Glock .45 full size counter part. Striker fire pistols do not wear out as fast as hammer fired either. I could go on, but for me Glock, simple because I can find Glocks and parts easier and for cheaper. I'd prefer H&K.

  • Best Tom Cruise scene ever. Almost sounds like the beginning of Phil Collins song 'In The Air Tonight' right after he says, 'Yo homey, is that my briefcase'.

  • @edmundjacobs i dunno, the club scene is pretty awesome too

  • @m0grady I did this once XD....lol

  • It's not Bam.BamBam.Bam . . . It's BamBam.BamBam.Bam . . . Bam :)

  • buenisimo! q lo pario!!! que chasco se llevaron esos...!!!

  • wow tomcruise is so badass

  • Mick Gould, a former SAS guy did all the firearms training for that movie.

  • please type "COLLATERAL KASSEL" as search words to youtube... i promise it's good! ;)

  • taught those two punks a lesson they'll never forget!!

  • Epic is right.

The first time I saw this movie, I actually had to go back and watch this again.

  • Pure Epicness!

  • lol it's a 9mm USP

  • @SpaceWrangler420

.45 ACP, actually. Slide rollmark is seen during his brass check when he arrives at his first hit and shots can be counted several times during the shootouts.

  • BAD MAMBA JAMBA

  • Assuming Cruise is not a gun-expert, how many times must he have rehearsed the scene? Quite a few,IMO.

  • @barbarian981 You can see his training videos on Youtube. Before this movie he never trained with real ammo. He trained for like 4 months straight with ex special forces guys running live fire drills until it was muscle memory. By the time they shot the movie he wasn't really acting, it was muscle memory and he was that hard core, which is a major part of why the movie was so good.

  • Amazing amount of responses here about gun twaddle

Bear in mind that the 'technical adviser' on this movie was Mick Gould, ex-SAS and tech adviser on a number of films.

The Brits used a lot of HK stuff, so it probably made sense to train Cruise in what he knew.

Also worth mentioning is that Cruise had never fired live ammo before and for this role he trained extensively with Gould on the range firing live ammo.

He also clocked this sequence in 1.39 seconds instead of 1.6 wanted in the script

  • Vincent for the fucking win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont care about aftermarket plus ALL usps have ALL the options i mentioned, and yes there are decocker options, you either do or do not have a decocker, and they come in SAO, DAO, DA/SA, and all have the option of a safety and/or a decocker plus they come with our without adjustable sights, with or without a magazine jet funnel, with or without a threaded barrel, plus three hammer types. and i dont know why your so defensive, i never said the usp was better i simply said its a nice gun.

  • A tactical draw and follow through worthy of Magpul Dynamic notoriety.

  • About 34 or 35 times now. Probably the most realistic one sided gunfight in a movie ever.

  • I love the way the shots reverberate

    ...massive

  • @oAzREZNoR it seems like most real firefights in life are one sided.

  • fucking awesome!

  • That's Great!

  • bad ass scene of the century

  • 2 in the chest... ONE IN THE DOME... only way cruise ROLLS... LOL

  • "What else you got for me?" - Would 3 rounds of .45 suffice?

    Really slick.

  • Vincent is the baddest mother fucker ever.

  • that was just ruthless. so bad ass.

  • silly tom cruise. You should have used a 1911

  • @migkillertwo

And why would he use a 1911 Mr migkiller?...I Thought the USP worked just fine

  • @migkillertwo I would agree, HK is for snobs who think they have a quality handgun.

  • @AdmiralGST I believe you mean snobs who 'know' they have a quality handgun, snobs or not HK's are nice.

  • @trp11078 HK does make nice pistols, same with Glock, Springfield, Smith and Wesson, SIG Sauer, etc. What makes HK better?

  • @AdmiralGST I never said HK is better i just stated that they do, in fact, make nice firearms, and yes i completely agree that Glock, Springfield, S&W, and especially sig sauer make nice firearms.

  • @trp11078 Well my point was that HK charges about $500 more for their handguns when I can one just as good for $500 less. The price makes snobs want them because they feel that because they cost more, that they are better.

  • @AdmiralGST so be it, either way their exceptional guns.

  • @trp11078 Just like Glock, SA XD, S&W M&P ETC.

  • @AdmiralGST actually the USP is superior to the firearm lines you just mentioned because it has a smoother trigger pull and is more versatile and has more form fitting options. but yes again they do make nice guns.

  • @trp11078 Strange, because all I hear about is its horrible double action trigger pull. How is it more versatile than a Glock? How does it have more form fitting than a Glock? You make no sense.

  • @AdmiralGST No, i am making perfect sense, a usp can come in about a dozen configurations with various safety settings, trigger actions, hammer types, barrel threading, sight options, and decocker options as well as all of these options on the the left or right side of the handgun. glocks do not, they have single action only, no safety options, no decocker options, no threaded barrels, no factory adjustable sights and are right handed only.

  • @trp11078 Uh Glock came out with the generation 4 which is ambi. Glocks aftermarket support drowns the USP. Why do you think that there are way more Glock Race guns than there are USP race guns (if they exsist). These guns aren't cheap and if HK is so good then how come the USP isn't choosen? The Glock isn't single action but something called Safe Action. The striker is semi cocked making it safe if you keep your finger off the trigger and is cocked fully by the trigger pull.

  • @trp11078 What do you mean by decocker options? Does one decock differently than another? Is there something I'm missing? All the USP really comes in is the safety being on one side of the gun or the other, the trigger mechanism is either standard DA/SA or LEM.

Glocks do have adjustable sights, look up the Glock models 34 and 35.

  • @AdmiralGST and even if you dony believe me about the options look for yourself on hk-usa.com

  • @trp11078 Just did, proves my point further, have you even shot a HK pistol let alone own one? Because it seems like you don't know anything really about it.

  • @AdmiralGST yes i own a usp and yes i shoot it all the time, its usp full-size .40 S&W SA/DA fully exposed hammer (variant one), and how does it prove your point? there's dozens of options, not only can you get variants one through ten but you can then exchange features from each, and why are you still so defensive, AGAIN i AGREE with you that glocks are nice im just saying hk's aren't just crappy guns for snobs (although there are alot of hk snobs).

  • @AdmiralGST yes i own a usp, its full-size .40 S&W SA/DA fully exposed hammer (variant one), and how does the website prove your point? there's dozens of options on there, not only can you get variants one through ten but you can then exchange features from each, and why are you still so defensive, AGAIN i AGREE with you that glocks are nice im just saying hk's aren't just crappy guns for snobs there very nice guns (although there are alot of hk snobs) but not everyone who has on is a snob.

  • @AdmiralGST yes i own a usp, its full-size .40 S&W SA/DA fully exposed hammer (variant one), and how does the website prove your point? there's dozens of options on there, not only can you get variants one through ten but you can then exchange features from each, and why are you still so defensive, AGAIN i AGREE with you that glocks are nice im just saying hk's aren't just crappy guns for snobs there very nice guns (although there are alot of hk snobs) but not everyone who has one is a snob.

  • @trp11078 Variants are LEM trigger or DA/SA trigger, safety on right or left side. Safety or no safety on the LEM version. Thats it, yes you can get a USP tac with a threaded barrel.

Most people I've talked to about HK always pulls the "its better than everything else" without a good reason behind it.

  • @AdmiralGST you forgot DAO, SAO, magazine jet-funnel, sight types, and wether or not to have a decocking lever , so stop disregardin the various options and accept that the usp is nice gun, and again for the last time I NEVER SAID THE USP WAS BETTER THAN EVERYTHING, so stop putting words in my mouth and accept that your wrong about the usp.

  • @trp11078 The fact that Glock has all that throught the huge aftermarket and yet the USP is still a grand. Doesn't click with me.

  • @AdmiralGST i understand, and yes i agree the germans know how to overprice, the usp should be 600 max.

  • @trp11078 Agreed.

  • @trp11078 Yea 600 would be ideal. The P30 should be 850 MAX.

  • @trp11078

You can find standard models for $750 or less in a lot of shops or online. MSRP doesn't mean shit, these days.

  • @AdmiralGST No, i am making perfect sense, a usp can come in about a dozen configurations with various safety settings, trigger actions, hammer types, barrel threading, sight options, and decocker options as well as all of these options on the the left or right side of the handgun therefore it can fit the form of the shooter. glocks do not, they have single action only, no safety options, no decocker options, no threaded barrels, no factory adjustable sights and are right handed only.

  • Absolutely, bad ass scene!

  • i love how he dust those two that fast..sweet

  • Shit like this would never really happen in California, becuase CCW's are illegal. That's why there are no gun related deaths in California. At least that's what the state legislature wants you to believe. That's why you vote Republican kiddies.

  • @braducsb2 I'm laughing because you honestly think a criminal would apply for a concealed carry license.

  • Comment removed

  • @braducsb2 lol look @ brad trolling youtube. I think you should read up on CCW laws a bit more.

  • @PANT3RA It was supposed to be a joke buddy. But Arizona does hand them out like candy, and it's virtually impossible to get them in Orange County where I live.

  • @braducsb2 Ummm CCWs are not illegal in California.. there are thousands of CCW holders in Cali. It's just our process for obtaining one gives alot of power to the local sheriff. Some counties basically give them on request (Kern) while others will deny you even if you have the most valid reason in the world like a threat against your life made by multiple people (San Francisco)

  • @safewaysecurity Well I didn't mean completely illegal, just virtually impossible to get. I wasn't aware that Kern (where the hell is Kern - is that where Bakersfield is?) county gives them out easily. I do know heavily populated counties it is nearly impossible - Orange (where I live), Los Angeles, San Fran (like you said), among others. My post was meant to be more of a joke.

  • look closely, perp on the right, he hesitated and failed to draw...saved vincent from a bullet-hole...almost looks like he waited for Vincent to point his weapon at him before he tried anything...then again if Vincent could be dropped by some asshole on the street we wouldn't have much of a movie now would we?

  • Looks more like he had trouble on the draw (e.g. getting stuck on the fabric of his shirt). Probably due to a spur hammer verses a bobbed! ;-)

  • please type "COLLATERAL KASSEL" to youtube.

i think you really won't regret it...!!! ;-)

  • Lmao @ gp5. So true, that's one of the things that makes this scene so great. I love the headshot before the dude hits the ground.

  • what fing gun was he using?

  • @jrag1000 I believe the pistol he used in order to take these two guys out, is an H&K USP.45 ACP. Cruise displayed excellent firearms control in this film. I reckon this is his finest film to date. I was so impressed by this film, I saw it twice at the cinema. Other weapons he used included a Ruger MkII suppressed pistol chambered in .22LR (the one he uses to shoot the jazz musician Daniel Baker) and a S&W 5906 which he takes off the security guard at the end of the film.

  • @Fenner1976

nice. That H&K was loud! and it wasn't because of the echo.

    Nice Shock & Awe ability.

  • @jrag1000 True! The good thing about Michael Mann's films is that he goes into great detail with both vision and sound. With the gunshots in this scene, the sound of the empty shell cases hitting the concrete can be heard. Cruise was trained by Michael Gould, an ex-SAS soldier on correct gun-handling and control. This film does display some accurate scenes with pistols, ie fingers alongside the trigger-guards when not being shot with. I haven't seen this in BluRay yet, but I bet it looks great.

  • @jrag1000 I've got that same H&K USP .45!! I got it because of this one scene! The loudness is truly accurate!!

  • @khalsasikh

    awesome gun!

  • I thought that was a .45, simply from the sound the casing made when it hit the pavement. Very distinct, especially AFTER you've shot several thousand. Check out the book Concealed Carry Revealed

  • lol just a normal double kill

  • I have exactly the same suit of Tom Cruise, it's a Pierre Cardin in cashemere

  • Best scene ever !!!!

  • they just got owned

  • Would have been better if the robbers were Black. But that wouldn't be politically correct.

  • beautiful

  • "What else you got for mua? huh?" How about 2 in the chest, 1 in the head?

  • Some guy nicked my wallet the other week and I did exactly the same, except I went 'BamBam....Bam'

  • owned

  • no no it's bambam.bambam.bam........bam
