  • I didn't realize Karl Jenkins wrote this. I always just thought it was the jewelry commercial song. Mandolin version is sweet, too.

  • Hi @lolasmummy, No not exactly; it is a plucked bass. A true Basso Pizzicato. This particular instrument was made in Italy esspecially for the use in mandolin orchestras and is called a 'Chitarrone moderno'.
