@cdhinton77 Only The Lord really knows the thoughts and intentions of a persons heart: whether a person seeks to glorify God or themselves; whether it's a performance for fame and money or worship from the heart. As for me: as long as the song portrays The Lord God in His proper context, then I say its purpose is to glorify God, and I say amen to it and give God the praise and not men. Men seeking their own glory is not just a new thing it's also very old; the bible verifies this.
