nice review, getting an iphone in the very near future, wanted an otterbox but dont want the bulk the commuter sounds very good to what i want. i dont plan on tossing my phone out of a moving vehicle or kicking it into a brick wall or anything crazy, the defender kinda seems like the "klutz shield" and i dont find myself too klutzy so the commuter looks like the best one in my position. thanks :]

Same here, I didn't upgrade my 3g to 3gs, because I think the iphone 4g will be worth the upgrade alot more.

A lot of you viewing this vid simply can't buy the iPhone 4g, it's just going to be so pricey

Not at all. You'd want the Defender. Not waterproof though.

@pie4all It's defiantly not water proof, but if you have it on the table and say spill a glass and your iphone ends up in the puddle it may offer some protection.

all depends on how high it goes if your wanting a protective case go with the defender series although it is not waterproof it is drop proof up to about 15 feet

Good review, I just got my Commuter today as I decided my Defender was too bulky and i am tired of having to use an adapter to use my accessories. So far the case looks great and I am pleased with it. I have the invisible shield on the front of my 3GS so I cut the included screen protector and placed it over the Apple logo. I dont know how dependable this case will be if the phone is dropped but I am willing to give it a shot.

i use a dock extender for my 1st gen touch...got the info from ilounge dock com...it allow you to dock or whatever w/out removing the case

Really great looking case. I have a otterbox impact and for 7$ its prob the best protection you can get.

nice review man yeah that little strip at the bottom would get me a little worried as well....as for otterbox's cs, unfortunately i can say i had a great experience when it came to my defender, i pretty much just got shrugged off and left with a bad taste in my mouth, but i do love their cases....i actually had to fix it myself but hey i guess thats another tip video i can record anyways nice stuff again i was waiting for your thoughts on the commuter

Hi larry,yeh I saw alex's review/unboxing on this case,and from what I've seen so far with this case is that otterbox needs to stiffen up the skin,like the SE rebel kind of material,but apart from that I think it would be a perfect case to have,thanks for the review,very informative,enjoyed watching
