  • Reason it probably won't snow in Miami for at least 50 years

    1) Coldest days are usually in a clear day, causing warm arm to rise into the atmosphere.

    2) Clouds act as a blanket, thus trapping warm air.

    3) Obviously to have snow you need precipitation which means it must be cloudy.

    4) Given these factors and the avg temperatures in Miami, it would have to be an extreme cold front to have snow.

P.S. - I live in Miami and am also a geographer.

  • SNOW??? Where's the snow? HAHAHAHA! Hey, buddy, if you want to see snow, come up to New Hampshire in February where you can have all the snow you can handle along with heat wave temperatures of 11 degrees. As much as I love South Florida (my mom lives in Ft.Lauderdale/Hollywood), I've seen more snow in a margahrita glass, than in all of Dade County put together, whenever I fly down. Hey, could you send us some sun up here and a bag of oranges? We'll send you a wind chill and a blizzard!

  • Liar, I think this is a trick

  • here in Brasil is sunshine :)

  • it got to 26'F the next morning in kendall! i was up at 5am (in kendall) and the weather channel said it was 26'F with a wind chill of 16'F with 89% humidity, i went outside to walk my dog and the cold reminded me of when i was in nyc one day when the high was 23'F. It was the exact same bone-aching bitterness that i felt in nyc and that surprised me.

  • @dramaking33 error, not the next morning the morning AFTER the next
