@MetalChocoboWielder Just thought I'd let you know that I think it's a lot more satisfying to pay for software and it really gives me incentive to work hard at learning it. . . but to each his/her own! Also, it's only for Mac OS X, so if you use windows, you'll have to find some other alternative (don't worry, there's plenty; look up "digital audio workstation" on wikipedia for a near-comprehensive list).

@MetalChocoboWielder Oh, I'm sorry I misunderstood you. :P I was mistaking your thoughts with mine before I got "serious" about making music.

FL Studio has some great potential, but like many wonderful hobbies, it takes practice, frustration, work, time, fits of anger, a learning spirit (way too difficult when others are cutting away at something you poured your soul into), time, and practice.

@liberatingpulse psh, I've been fiddling with Cytrus on my buddies copy of it (he has 9, wishes he had 8 full instead :/) and its actually semi-intuitive.. after you go RAGE WHY THIS NO SOUND GUUUD for the first hour after the next day of making it... then you go back a week later and 'wait, this sounds good...'

@Addymotion I did play it on a PC, but the best footage I could find online was from a console. I couldn't record it on my computer because of frame rate issues with my screen capture software. I do agree that the PC version is better though.
