you are at a distinct disadvantage playing this on low settings, i play it maxed out on my gaming rig, and at collegei play it low on my laptop, and man..... its like impossible to see people, especially at 640x480 resolution :P

you are essentially sniper bait, because you just cant see people further than 8 meters away

I remember those days too u use too only play on 640x480 with all settings set to low and off and now I play 1920x1200 with all settings max and get 100 fps average and 70 fps in smoke and it's all too sexy fr me I just get an orgasm when I touch my keyboard to play. My keyboard is the one with keys on it like this dude. Pretty cool how we have the same keyboard xD

heres a quick tip. if it lags, put your resolution to 800x600. when that is done click on apply at the bottom right and after it reboots click low or off on every quality and sound setting you can and the game should run more smoothly for you. if this still doesnt work then upgrade your computers graphics card and if needed then new processors and everything. look on the box the game came in and look at the system requirements section for more help.

@mcinteggart It's really easy... Go to Control Panel (if you use Vista) then go to Security, after that you should see a little button with Lan settings, click on that. After that (the final step) you just need to click on the button ' Buy a new computer'. Your done!

i got it for online my fps are 60 on full but i use a special cfg that turns my gfx so low its unreal :D i got 185 fps stable xD

When u set a model detail low, persons will be look like on low textures when they go too far. I can say only this game is good even on lowest settings. But better when high (this is normal i guess :P)

umm you should at least get a duo processor... and maybe at least 2.3 ghz on each... You should also upgrade you video card to at least a Nvidia 7600 or ATI Radeon 9800Pro is suggested. With these settings it will look like the XBOX pretty much...

your computer will not run on it, unfortunately, your processor isn't big enough, you should at least get a 3 ghz single processor or a duo 2.3 ghz processor. Your video card is also not good enough. Get Nvidia GeForce 7600 it's free just search Nvidia Drivers on google. I would also get at least 1.5 mb of ram, just to make sure...

i use a laptop with nvidia 9800 GT vid card, used to be about 100 fps pretty constant, i set all of the graphics settings to the options off, or no, and put in alot of console CMDS, i run 125 FPS CONSTANT, with no lag at all, and it improved my game ALOT. whats even better is on map like overgrown, i can now see every ghillie laying in the grass from like a mile away. ill post a vid soon, its really sweet. the enemies look like clay people ehehehe
